HEHE!! Oh man, thanks so much!! I'm so glad you like it. It's really hard to find many other people who have even HEARD of this show. I honestly thought my vampire-fancying (AND fan art!) days were behind me after I quit Anne Rice YEARS ago, but dammit, Mitchell!! Oh yes, you should totally watch it! It's a slow starter but REALLY hits its stride by the second season, and now I NEED TO SEE MORE...

I'm glad you think it looks like him... I often fail at likenesses. -__- For what it's worth, if I were casting an Astral Arcana movie, I'd have that actor play Malachi.

OMG I KNOW And yet I still like him... I think he can be fixed. Daisy seems fairly, uh... free with her charms. I forget, did she actually sleep with George, or did she just flirt with him shamelessly? I used to really dislike Daisy, but since watching the Desperate Romantics miniseries, where that actress is a main character (and paired with Aidan Turner, who plays Mitchell), I like her a lot more just because her character in that was a good deal less awful than Daisy.

Ah yeah, I remember now. HURRRR.

Desperate Romantics is a BBC drama about the Pre-Raphaelite artists in England in the 1860s (these guys: [link] ). I really, really enjoyed it, but that could just be the fact that I have a bit of a thing for the Pre-Raphaelites, Victorian settings/costumes/aesthetics, and ESPECIALLY half-naked Aidan Turner. For what it's worth, it's also really funny. Very much recommended.

He is indeed. Vampires... The whole Twilight craze turned me off to them almost completely so I was really skeptical about this show, but this guy...

My love of broody men really only extends as far as fiction. I can't stand anyone that angsty in real life, but somehow the idea is always enticing.

Yes. He's pretty perfect (at least he was for a while... recently certain *things* have happened ). Honestly, he succeeds as a character in spite of being a vampire, and besides, Irish accent. If you get a chance to watch this show, I think you'd like it. (I actually love all three of the main characters, they're all really endearing.)

I say so only because I think Mitchell would look KNOCKOUT HOT in your style. And yes, it SHOULD be illegal for anyone to look that good. If anything, he only gets hotter over the course of the series!!! There's an episode in season 2 where you get to see him both naked and in a slick '60s suit. I'm totally in love with his little fingerless hobo gloves.

Hehe, no problem. And yeah it does really look like him. I want to do a drawing soon but I keep putting it off because I can't find the right picture to use (and I begin to feel a little obsessive scouring the net for images ). He has a difficult face to get right which just makes it easier delaying!

I can imagine! I have a friend in the same position, she works on ALL the times its on and repeated and her internet is down, so I had to record it for her. Which involved connecting cables between dvd recorder and tv and getting an annoyed parent to help (his fault - he disconnected the two in the first place ).

Still, we watched it today and it was good. I liked it better the second time Hope you get a chance to catch up soon, it'll be worth the wait.

I've been visiting you...I haven't been seeing ur art and I'm like WTF? so...naturally..I dont watch journals..I would get 17 of them a day..I hated that. I just go to pages of my more active friends and read what they are up to.

Yes, I like him a lot. I'm finally getting to drawing as well...I'm actually gonna try digitally coloring for a picture I'm doing now!
