IT'S FANART.
So there's this little show on the BBC called Being Human . At its most basic, it's about three roommates--a vampire, a werewolf, and a ghost--attempting to lead normal human lives together in the same house. And I've grown very fond of this little show; very fond indeed.
Which led me to this: the first fanart I've done of my own volition in years. YEARS. But I had to! I have a SERIOUS Mitchell problem, guys.
Gorgeous. Irish. Principled and brooding about it. That is all.

Kewl! I had heard about that show, but never really checked it out (I'm a bit tired of that kind of supernaturalism atm), though I really like the basic concept

Initially, I was REALLY really skeptical about it, but I gave it a chance and it turned out that I really liked it. I was never on the Buffy wagon, and Twilight just irritates me, and I'm really tired of the whole vampiric shtick, but this show really works for me. Your mileage may vary, of course.
I'm really glad you think it came out okay... normally I suck when I try to draw real people, but I like to think it looks enough like him to at least be recognizable.

Heh, well, Buffy is a bit different from most other vampire things I've seen. Mostly because it isn't about vampires (not really, even though they and other supernatural phenomenon is the setting), it's about a Joss Whedon comedy with kids growing up. Telling a story about teenage troubles... through vampires. And comedy. (Though I will not defend Buffy further than that - it reeks of Joss Whedon, but stretched out thin over seven seasons and with focus lost in the middle. What I WILL say though, is that I would like Buffy just as much without the vampires, werewolves and witches - they aren't even half of what makes Buffy fun).
I tired of the vampiric shtick way before Twilight though - I tired of it from White Wolf's "World of Darkness"-setting and games, which are very popular in the tabletop RPG-world AND the LARPing culture.
Well I can't really say if it looks like the real person - I mean I could of course google some images or click the links you provided in your artist's comment, but it's 3AM and I'm going to bed - but I think it looks really good nevertheless! And heh, you're welcome to borrow it as much as you want and do something of your own with it
