Yeah, you're right!! I'm in the US, so I don't get to watch the BBC's iPlayer, but I've been finding good full-episode links on surfthechannel [link] if you're willing to put up with Megavideo's silly 72-minutes-at-a-time limit.

I know that show - it's passed me by, unfortunately, as they never seem to show episode 1 series 1 on iPlayer! I have to say, it's kinda fun to see an a) dark picture for you with no brown shades and b) a hairier looking man

BTW, if you're a fan of the Mitchell actor you could also check our Desperate Romantics (2009) which is about the Pre-Raphaelite brotherhood. He plays Rosetti.

Oh, if you get a chance you should try it. I was skeptical at the get-go, but it won me over pretty quickly. And yes, I was inspired by *Verdokai 's coloring while doing this one-- lately she's been doing a few pictures with blue/red light and shadows respectively, and I loved how it looked in her work so I borrowed it for this one. And yes, he's... really quite hairier than I normally like, but he's hot enough that I can forgive him a LOT of hair.

AND OMG I KNOW, I want to see that sooooo bad. Because if there's anything hotter than Aidan Turner normally, it's Aidan Turner all sexied up in Victorian clothing.

Nommm. As I said yesterday, I may not have watched the show but I would have recognised him anyway from the adverts I've seen. And you really did make him gorgeous. I love the way he's standing, all casual but with a more serious look to him. Brooding is definitely the right word for this guy.

For what it's worth, "like an exploding steam train" was making me laugh ALL OF LAST NIGHT. Something about it just... man.

Seriously, I'm really glad you like it. I'm generally pretty insecure when I do modern clothing AND fanart in general, so that makes me happy that I actually made something halfway decent. (And with dark colors to boot! )

OH YOU SHOULD. It's really quite good. Admittedly it's more of a drama than a comedy, but it definitely has its funny moments. :3 Just remember, if you happen to find an episode called "pilot" and one called "episode 1", do NOT watch the pilot, it's rather dreadful. They replaced most of the cast in between airing the pilot and the first episode proper (thank goodness for that).

Yes! That is indeed what it's about, and it's surprisingly original! I'm glad you like this. I have a bit of a history of being very proud of my drawings of "real" people only to find that they don't look anything like the people they're supposed to.

Huhuuu, I'm glad you think so! And he definitely has a bit of a half-innocent half-dangerous look, so I'm quite pleased that that came across. The colors were a little different for me, but they were fun! I was afraid they might be a little on the too-dark side, but I'm pleased with the effect nonetheless.

Well, in all fairness only Mitchell is really this attractive. XD I guess the werewolf guy is cute, but it's only in an extremely normal-person kind of way. Don't let that stop you, though; I was skeptical of the premise but it won me over really quickly and in a big way.
