....DUDE. She has a Β΄on her name? D: WHY DID I NOT NOTICE THIS ARRRGH. I should put it on pretty much all the time whenever I spell it. I'm kind of used to that with French, ennahways (plus I keep putting weird accents on my own characters...CΓ©aranwen, EnΓ‘is, etc)...Right. Doing that now

I love the idea of her going around like some anime girl in her CUTE LITTLE NAVY COAT WITH NO PANTS AND WHOOPS! PANTY SHOT!! 
Her name does have an accent on the E, but I tend to be INCREDIBLY fast and loose with it, because for a very long time I had a computer where it was really hard to type the accents, so I got out of the habit.

TrΓ©eeeeeeeeean....did you add that just because, or for a language reason? I usually add them because of whatever culture/place I'm basing stories on (for example, EnΓ‘is may or might not be in the Ireland-ish/Gaelic area, and they deeefinitely have accents over the a's

Yeah, I SHAMELESSLY stole her name from the Gaelic word for "strong". Because I'm a big loser. XD It does have an accent, so there's an actual reason for it being there.

Oh, I've seen them on ALL the vowels. D: It's just an accent-filled language with FAR too many extraneous vowels for its own good. 
If she'd stayed in her own world, chances are she would've amounted to something like a mythological warrior princess.

Thanks! I'm so glad you like her. I'm totally in love with Trean, she's my favorite girl character (though Rian is running a VERY close second). What I REALLY need to do is write down all the stuff she did before she became Grand Admiral. That was a long, hard climb.

The side profile picture at the top is really pretty too. I like that you took the same character and in one picture she looks like a glamorous noble and in the other she looks like a stern faced warrior.

I draw her SO OFTEN, it's ridiculous how many permutations she's gone through. Sometimes her body type varies itself depending on the context of the picture, it's awful. I don't know if you've seen the big sketchdump of her that I did (that profile picture is culled from that)... LOTS of different outfits.

Actually, they're white... she's just so pale there's almost no appreciable difference between them and her skin tone in th lighting I gave it... -_- Then again, I'm sure the rest of the navy wouldn't mind if she started prancing around pantsless in that sporty skintight coat...

This one I actually found through Google on Flickr. Many of the old paper texture I use are from a great resource: [link] Everything there is free to use without any terms, so I recommend culling from there because it's helpful to avoid copyright issues. Unfortunately I can't find this particular one again because I lost the page, but CGTextures (that link there) is a great place to start.

Yes. There's going to be one more single-person, two double-person, and the last one will have multiples. The doubles and the multiple are because the characters get drawn by me enough to warrant an explanation, but they're too minor to have a whole sheet devoted to them.
