Here is the robot that I've been working on for almost a month, all completed! We had to add some extra detail shots of him, so I decided to make my presentation sheet into a fake repair log for some futuristic company. x) I feel the logo I designed for this came out pretty snazzy too!

The DogBot is essentially a friendly service robot. For what services? I'm not sure. I suppose it's a loyal creature, so it'd be willing to do many tasks. I painted him blue to have him come off less threatening. I also made him look rather beat up (like hanging wires) to make him look more interesting.

The robot first started out as a thumbnail silhouette that can be seen here ([link] ). Using that as a basic reference, I modeled him out, including having to redo his leg a couple of times for functionality sake. After that, materials were added, lighting rig was set up, everything was rendered and exported in Photoshop where I could texture, detail and make the rest of the sheet!

I hope you all like him! I'm quite proud with how this came out. x)
