Per ardua ad astra - Through adversity to the stars

The above is the motto for the Royal Air Force, also used by the RNZAF. This is Rainbow Dash backed against her Air Vice Marshall Command Flag.

Indeed it is true that through adversity we fight our way against our enemies taunt and hatred to reach our eventual grace. The future we know is possible with self sacrifice and willingness to give the past a fond farewell.

Let not that which is said or done let your wings pin shut. Open them wide and let soar to the heavens to which the sun shines and your friends await you.

For they are not the past, they are not the present or future. They, your friends, are you all.

Why do I always listen to sombre music when writing? Listening to Hayley Westenra (NZer) singing Danny Boy [link] and then her singing Time to Say Goodby [link] ~sniff~ *wipes eye* Stupid dust.

This kinda explains why my writing style is focused around the emotional side of conflicts. I like to show that ponies were still ponies, now emotionless super soldiers of like the characters in old cartoons who were always chipper & heroic.

War is war and it's dirty business plus there's always an emotional & spiritual toll. I ref my latest chapter [link]
