i have a question, could this be put into a game (i.e dawn of war?)

Probably not. You'd need to convert the model into something compatible with the game engine, make animations, reduce the number of detail, etc. I imagine it would be easier to model it from scratch in another program rather than use this model.

That is amaziming. Two things that have nothing to do with each other:

1) What program did you use to draw that?

2) If the image in the bottom right is of the inside of the head, then this is way too big for the average warlord. The head scale seems to more akin to an Imperator Titan. I say this because all the reasearch I have done points mostley to Warlords standing between 100 and 120 feet tall at head level depending on the make. This is supported by the Epic Scale Warlord GW sells, which has an access hatch on its back.

All that stuff on scale is me being picky, but I still think you did an amazingjob with this!

Thanks for the comment. You're absolutely right about the scale. This is way too big, even for an Imperator Titan. I was inspired by the comics that Black Library released a while back (don't remember who drew them, but Dan Abnett wrote them) which featured huge Warlord titans, well above the scale GW had previously intended. GW is very inconsistent when it comes to scale. Just look at the tiny Reaver titan they're selling for the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game.

The way Titans are described in the background, they are machines that can turn the tide in global wars. When you consider the size of the Imperium and the small number of Titans controlled by the Adeptus Mechanicus, I don't think it makes sense that they're basically Battlemechs with void shields. Especially in a universe where space ships are several kilometers long. Warhammer 40,000 is all about epic scales, and I wanted to represent Titans according to that vision.

This thing.... THIS thing could win a war

I ain't arguing with ya. I'm just saying that, even with imperial technology, the largest titan wouldn't be taller than 200 feet. The esign you have is great, just really big!!!!!

Yeah, i know what you mean. Nice to recreate all those boxy Warhammer guns, but round shapes and angles always give me headaches.
In fact, right now i have one just thinking about how you did all this.

First step is to get rid of all your friends and quit school / work. Those are just distractions that ultimately can't help you with SketchUp.

Wow, very impressive. What program do you create these with?

Thanks! I used Google Sketch-Up. Not the most flexible tool, but certainly easy to learn.

Yeah, the internal shot was just for scale purposes. If I had more time, it would be sweet to go crazy with details.
