Xander's surprised when Freddy stops by his workshop in the middle of the day; "What's up?" he asks him.
Sighing heavily; "I can't believe I'm asking my little brother, but I need some advice." Freddy replies.
With a serious expression; "Ok; first off boys and girls are different. Boys have a penis, while girls have...." Xander tells him.
"I'm serious." Freddy exclaims, interrupting him; "It's about Shannon."
"You're new girlfriend?" Xander asks in surprise; "What's going on?"
"Last night, when she found out I had my own security...she asked if I was a drug lord." Freddy informs him.
Shrugging; "Ok, you're not, so what's the problem?" Xander replies.
Hesitantly; "Ya, but I am a criminal." Freddy says; "And not telling her the truth just seems like I'm lying to her, and I don't want to lie."
"Oh. Well that could be problematic." Xander admits; "You know, you could lose her over this."
"I know, but if I don't' tell her myself I'm afraid she'll find out from someone else." Freddy points out; "I do have a reputation you know."
Nodding his head; "And that would be worse." Xander agrees. After a few moments of thought; "Honestly, I think it's going to depend on her."
"What do you mean?" Freddy prods.
"How much is she going to want to know?" Xander asks.
Confused, Freddy retorts; "What are you talking about?"
"Take Ariel; the night we met was when Big Mamma sent her boys to kill you." Xander reminds him; "She's seen what I do first hand. She saw the blood, the gore, the bodies. But that was enough for her, just knowing. Now when I got a job I just tell her I'm off to the office and she gives me a kiss and tells me to be careful and come home safe. I've came back covered in blood and bruises, and all she does is count my body parts and makes sure I'm in one piece. We don't talk about it, and she doesn't want to know." Xander tells him; "Now on the other hand there's Christy; she saw one body and dumped me on the spot. We've became really good friends since then, but for her she just can't be with a guy that does what I do."
"Man I hope that don't happen." Freddy moans.
"Then again there's Tabitha." Xander tells him; "She's seen what I do up close and personal. When she found out it was me in the suit all she cared about was if Ariel was ok with it. If Ariel's ok then Tabitha's ok. Now it's like some romantic novel or movie to her." Xander says, shaking his head. Then shrugging; "But then again, I thought I made Ariel so mad at me yesterday that she was gonna leave me. Next thing I know she's practically raping me on her bosses couch with him in the same room! So what the fuck do I know?"
