Motley Crue - Dr. Feelgood

He was the first dude I doodled for this story, wayyyy back during a high school track meet while listening to the Dr. Feelgood album. Vince Neil in the total embracing of LA rock, Gene Simmons/Nikki Sixx in calculated persona and business ethics. Just plain 80’s G.L.A.M (GAY LOS ANGELES METAL – quoth dave mustaine). I really really really want to do a total revamp of this character though, he isn’t interesting enough for me to wanna even write.

Johnny: THE SHY ONE. Bassist. Orphaned alien parasite. Not so enamored with being a song and dance man. Drinks and cries himself to sleep every night, wakes up and barfs his guts out every morning (not just from the booze either!) Will probably sleep with you if you wait long enough backstage.

David Bowie - Hallo Spaceboy

Clark Kent/Superman backstory mixed in with a liberal amount of Ace Frehley, Mick Mars, and Jani Lane. The unloved ones! I’m very happily taking from 70s David Bowie’s genderless pansexual alien sex god shtick as well, I’m so in love with that image and I want to push it as far as I can. “Do you like girls or boys, it’s confusing these days~”

Benny “Donut” & Jet: THE WILD ONES. Lead and rhythm guitar. Identical twins. Shredders. They keep in touch with their mum and pop. Ex-punks, got tired of people saying they weren’t TRUE PUNKS. One prefers dudes. The other prefers ladies. But they both really like this one lady stripper over at the Body Shop…

Van Halen – Jump

EVH, duh. Shredderooni! God, just fun party pop rock! Then you got some Michael Angelo Batio in there, I really wanted a character that could feasibly use one of his ridiculous guitars. Add a lil’ Herman Li for token asianness and more tasteless shredding, and Tommy Lee for frat boy party hardy shenanigans. Parental issues are gonna be a big thing for these two, gotta keep in touch with mama kin. Also, stripper girl.

Jack: THE MATURE ONE. Drummer. Hollywood hairstylist. STARRY EYED LOVER~. Too old to be playing around with the rest of the band after shows. Very picky with his groupies, would rather have regular lays. If he really likes ya, he’ll getcher number and call you up for a nice dinner when he’s in town again.

KISS – Love Gun

Soooo much Paul Stanley and Prince. A little bit of Keli Raven, because he's the only black dude I've ever seen in legit HAIR metal. Super flamboyant/flaming, but still gets all the girls. The kind of guy that would make my dad reaaaally uncomfortable, ‘cos he’s physically masculine but effeminate in behavior, movement, and dress. He's the newest outta these characters (so i gotta work on his story more), though his current visual design I doodled in high school hahah..
