Have you a key to these deckplans? What each compartment is, for example? I was trying to work out what that volume on deck 2 below the bridge is.

I have a ship a friend of mine made. a clay rendering, i'd like to make a floor model like this, i've spent about 6 hours in PAINT trying to make one but there was just too much work. id like a deck plan lay out you made this in photoshop was it east?

While it would certainly be easier than Paint, I know I've done some in paint, It was not easy. It took about 18 hours all told, from ship render to finish of deckplan.

need something like the sims..where u can snap walls n stuff...or even create a outline of the ship (to scale) and then lay the floor down, then create the walls. i just hated doing it in paint and thus gave up. i have it in my head what i want and where i want it...but if i cant put it on paper i guess its staying in my head.

You may take a look at either Dundjinni or Campaign Cartographer. They're more drag & drop.

well i have my ship, but i dont have a 'top' down picture of it. for overlaping. but i really like the way you did it. now if i just wanted walls, and basic layout of the ship. not the beds and such as you have would doga? be good for that? literally just want the rooms n layout. lol

DOGA was only used for the 3d Ship model. All the interior was done in Photoshop

Just personal use... as far as I know there's no new official Serenity RPG stuff coming out.

It's a good system. I'm running a star wars campaign ripping off a lot of the mechanics from it.

Yeah, the ship is fairly new so it has a high level of automation and many redundant systems, especially compared to current aircrafts.
I also follow the star wars ship design philosophy that there should be as little wasted space as possible. To me a two-man bridge is most unnecessary, at least for this ship.

And don't the Star Destroyers used by the Empire utilize multi-man bridges?

thanks. Most of the objects are from RPG Map Share or from a Star Wars mapping set I found as well as various textures I have.
