Description
Measure doll's inside leg and waist to ankle, add 1cm seam/hem allowance. Measure mid buttock to side, double this figure and add 1cm. In this instance my doll's measurement was 3 1/2 cm, so the total is 8cm.
Cut 2 pieces this size and 2 pieces 1cm narrower for the unpleated backs.

Hem all 4 pieces now as it's easier than hemming pleated fabric.

Make 2 pleats in the front sections only. Do this by pressing approx. 1cm fabric over on itself, then press 1/4 cm in the opposite direction, this forms the pleat. (it makes a step looking shape).
