I know! They should've kept this scene in! It's so cute when Miguel pulls Hector back up onto the trolley, and it's funny when he punches Pepita in the face. Protective great-great grandpa for the WIN! (Even though he didn't know it at the time. XD)

Try to put yourself in the skin (or bones ) of a young woman that was abandoned by her husband and had to begin from zero to learn a job and to give a future to her daughter ... try to understand you have been hating (or trying to hate)  that man all your life ... you are not dumb because of thta. You can't just make all those emotions disappear in one second.

Even if you meet that person who left you in the other world, probably you wouldn't believe what he might tell you.

Well, Imelda probably told Pepita to attack if he ever came by. Then again, pets are very sensitive to the emotions of their owners/friends. Just look how sad Dante was near the end when Hector was dying again/fading. It's less obvious with cats, but they can be protective of their humans too. Just look at my cat. He's 19 years old and he STILL jumps on my bed and lays down right next to me. I'm literally his favorite pillow. XD
