I made this comic to show a strange observation (and because this theme is very personal to me...and I guess to some of you, too).Characters like the ones mentioned in this comic are extremely loved in the fandom while real people like that aren't. They often even have their lives made hell by fellow humans. Because, as sad as it is, society hates the ones who are different. They are picked on and become social outcasts.
I think, especially L is a typical example, since he shows signs of the asperger's syndrome. (Those who know what that is will know what I’m talking about…)
I guess, this is because in fiction, people get to know the characters from the inside and learn to appreciate them 'as a whole' but in real life, people often see only the outer side and label them as 'strange', 'freaks', etc.
Btw, the guys in panel 5 are supposed to be (young) Snape's and L's 'real life equivalents'.
And the shallow and hypocritical behaviour of the bitches girls in this comic is meant to represent the 'offending side' (I know it’s still very harmless here compared to what often happens IRL.)

I love that the Snape look-a-like is reading HP and the L look-a-like has a picture of a pair of cherries on his laptop. It's a nice touch.

Snape would be sexy and hot to me still. I happen to love nerdy guys especially geeks who can pull off a pair of spectacles. I have a thing for picking people's brains to get to know them and intelligent nerdy men are hot as hell.

I'm like any fangirl out there, the only difference; even if my favorite characters were real, I would be too anti-people to go talk to them. Maybe just steal some glances then be too shy/nervous/not care to even bother talking to them...while thinking 'wow, they're hotter than fire.'

Geeeeh, as an aspie, I definitely find that I'm probably one of those "fugly nerds" who is the victim of such a mindset other people have. Boys always say they want this shy, quiet girlfriend who doesn't care much about her appearance and is this book nerd who would rather stay at home and read than party or something. I don't know female characters like that boys lust after, since I don't really follow what's popular with guys, so I can't name any. But I like to think I'm kind of like that shy, quiet girl, and yet all throughout high school and middle school, boys thought I was gross or would rather make fun of me than much of anything else. I really hate that "I want a shy, quiet nerd girlfriend" mindset for such a reason. Mostly because of my experience, but also because guys probably just want that kind of girl so that they could fuck her ad have her all to themselves. Problem with that is, how do they even know she wants to fuck them? :T
And then there's goddamn Loki. Don't even get me started on that asshole. He's a destructive prick all because of his "uWu sad backstory woobie just wants father's luv" and girls still love him. Yet, here I am getting shit for having trouble socializing and not eating sauce on pasta. You'll accept and even feel sympathy for a guy who tried to destroy an entire city, yet you shun and get angry with people who are only ever doing things that may inconvenience you (and aren't even trying to!).
Loki: Aha, my father didn't give me the power of the ultimate weapon that I'm not strong enough to handle anyway and didn't tell me that I'm adopted, so I'm going to get my brother arrested and then try to ENSLAVE ALL OF NEW YORK AND DEMAND THAT EVERYONE KNEEL TO MY FEET!

Me: Hey, guys. I'm really sorry if I get snippy or aggravated sometimes. It's just that I'm so used to getting pushed around all the time, not to mention sometimes I feel like no one's really listening to me.
