Well, I just can't resist posting something to dA......To sum everything, these are just prototype creature designs for my ORBIS project, much of them have been wildly redesigned (hopefully into better forms). Even though the animals on this sketch are all marine (and tropical reef dwellers), I have planned a world extending from equatorial ecosystems up to the polar tundras and ice sheets.
This is a truly immense project, with a humongous number of species in my mental blueprint, waiting to be put into papers, pencils and pixels.

I must admit that most of the creatures on this piece looks somewhat concussed, rotund or otherwise unimaginative. A few of them are real UGLY. Gonna post better, completed versions someday
Oh btw, this drawing is going to be moved into Scraps once the real thing is on display.

no, those are animals from my project's world, coral reef fauna to be specific. A parallel universe of sort.
But I'm planning to do a xenobiology series someday

wow.. those are amazingly complex, beautiful and err. don't know how to explain fantasy-awesomeness. So I'll just leave it like that. @w@ mind-boggling goodness. A few of em inspire me to go draw a few helmets tomorrow

I wouldn't say anything on any planet or world is "ugly", it's just that some things deviate a bit from what we consider to be the norm.

I suppose so.....well, I was just got a little bit frustrated when working with this project. I mean, I've been starting this since my days in junior high school, never actually done it, and so I decided to improve my designs over the time until I'm really satisfied with them. It took such a long time, that I got rather impatient and ended up with such perception. Especially when I kept comparing mine with the works of the others.....Thanks by the way
