In the main Netbattlers Discord, there's a regular series of tabletop games called the Netbattlers Club, where you take a single Battle Network character and bring them through a variety of oneshots. It's not unlike Neverwinter Nights and going through a series of modules.

I wanted to think of a character who would generally be consistent with what I like the most, so I figure a fucking nerd who does doujin gamedev work with a Navi that's themed around videogames would be cool. In keeping with my theme of basing NetNavis off Robot Masters who didn't get Navis, BitMan.EXE is based off the 2018 Rockman Unity April Fool's line-up, where one of the robot masters was a video-game-themed RM named Bit Man.

Out of all the designs, I really liked how Bit Man looked, so I decided to try and turn his design into a fun NetNavi to play for Netbattlers Club.

My first session with him is in two days. Boy, I sure hope nothing terrible happens!

Everything I drew ended up looking wonky, so eventually I just got angry and scaled up an actual pixel-scarf.
