Many thanks. At the beginning, I had only drawn Annie so it was tricky to plan for the background but, with some work, I managed to capture as best as I could the SNK setting. As for the pose, I used myself as reference (it actually worked)!

How did you do that? I tried using myself as a reference before... I looked like the freaking monster from Ao Oni. XD

Ao Oni!? No, it couldn't have been that bad. I strike poses good enough to see how clothes crease and fold in the various positions. Even something as simple as taking a photo of your hand from the angle you need helps immensely.

I'm so far loving Attack on Titan... so far just got to the episode where we just saw the female titan for the first time (and judging by this picture... I think I know who it is .  *shrug* She was my second guess, personally I thought it was Eren's mother but meh).

That's what I thought... my personal thought of what's going on is... a bunch of humans trying to revolt against the Emperor and they use the power of the Titans to do it.  At first I thought Eren's father was the ring leader of it all... but, now looking at his actions that we have seen (and the fact that the Female titan is not Arin's mother) this makes me wonder if he knew about the plot and was (is) trying to stop them due to the amount of lost life that would come about the revolt.

We shall see

I always imagined it to be an "outsider" (rural villages) vs. "insider" (walled cities) quarrel with the latter oppressing the former with taxation, land appropriation laws, etc. Some of the people in the inner-most wall, Sina, are in deep with the titan secrets, and I imagined Eren's father to be heavily involved as well. My question is what/where he went (perhaps to kick start the outsider's revolt by giving them the titan formula?).

Can't wait to find out!

It's possible... then again, I am sure he wouldn't have given Eren the power to fight the Titans if he also intended him to die during the initial Titan attack... which would have been a very real possibility given his age and inexperience (heck, it's possibly luck he is even alive right now).

He also didn't seem to have an issue with Eren joining the Recon Corps at an early age, possibly because he might have wanted him to be there (you don't get much stronger then the Recon Corps if you live, seems like they would be the strongest of the three branches given that they see the most Titan action, with the walls seeing much less and the Military Police seeing no Titan Action).

I can't wait either XD

True, but what if Eren's father was aiding both sides, caught somewhere in the middle of it all? Actually, outside of our conversation I haven't considered his father's fate, let alone role, in the plot too deeply.

I think it's natural for a young man in those circumstances to want to want to join the Recon Corps and fight, I didn't question his father on that one. His mother, I think the natural concern she showed made sense, she'd be opposed to the violence.

I want some questions answered, like who is fighting who exactly. XD

You're very welcome. I had a lot of fun making it. It's a quick enough but kind of interesting inking/ colouring scheme that I'd like to make more work like this.

Many thanks. It's the first time I've inked and coloured in this style, let alone make a background from this angle. I'm happy it's getting good feedback. As for Annie, she's my favourite so I support her through the good times and bad. :] Crossing my fingers that she gets a happy ending.
