This is amazing. The "rough" inking reminds me a lot of the manga. Love it.
Also Annie is my fav character, although it's quite unsafe, feels-wise, to like the anti-heroes. But i can't help it... Those three... I have so many theories, and i really hope they somehow make it.

Guys, what about me? I'm also a titan!
Yeah, after i saw the anime i didn't think much of either Bertholdt or Reiner. But after reading the manga i'm all "GAAAAAAAAAHH, my poor babies, what did they do to you? Who do you fight for??". ;A;
Although i don't think either of them knew Annie, or much of her, before they joined the military police. Love all three now either way.

They're from the same village and it's hinted at in the manga that they've communicated at some point (Reiner knows about Annie spying on several suspicious characters). I always imagined that they travelled to the walled cities together, so they knew one another on some level.

IoNekta In reply to Terra7 [2013-11-22 17:37:42 +0000 UTC]
Aaah, that's right, i forgot about that. I still feel their relationship until the training corps was more of agents with a mission (which they sort of are), they knew the existence and abilities of each other (they had been "briefed"), but hadn't properly got to know each other. But your theory is also plausible.
And the part about them coming from the same village... I have a feeling that this "village" might have been more of a turn-children-into-titans secret operation facility... You can't possibly believe Reiner learnt to armour his body or Annie to regenerate specific parts of her body without some kind of rigorous training.
I'm going to stop theorizing in case you find it annoying. I just don't know anybody that likes AoT, more specifically the titan trio, and that has read the manga. I got no one to share my feels with. TT_TT
But you can tell me to sod off and leave you in peace and there would be no hard feelings (and i'd still stalk your gorgeous art).

Berthold knew Reiner when they were young, from what I understand (manga and comments). Annie less so, who preferred to remain detached and formed no bonds with either of them when they came to the walled cities. I'm honestly not sure if Annie stayed with them as soon as they broke the walls, the flash back in the anime showed her picking up her bread alone, while it showed Bert with Reiner. She's obviously grown distant from them, but realizes that they hang out around her (Bert more so than Reiner; her comment to Jean about "not wanting to think [they're] together" because of aforementioned), whether that relates to the mission or not.
All we know is that the village was attacked by Titans, and they didn't receive the news because they weren't by the river. I'm certain they were trained from a young age, we just don't know how. It's possible that some people are more resilient to the titan transformation and do not loose their "sanity" (i.e. become human-eating mindless titans).
No, it's not annoying at all! X] It's fun discussing these things! We can be fellow "titan-trio-manga-readers-anime-watchers-theory-discussion-buddies" together!

Yay! I finally have someone to pester talk to!
Mmmh... yeah, you make good points. The first time i watched the anime i was more interested in knowing what was going to happen next, i should watch it again and focus on the details. I might have missed some subtle but relevant stuff (likewise with the manga).
Oh yeah, absolutely, no way everybody acts equally. No doubt some of them went insane. Reiner, Bert and Annie are having a lot of trouble as it is, although it's probably more related to their "mission" than their abilities. That's probably why i like them so much. Poor Reiner, he would have made an amazing leader, all sure of himself, supportive, adamant, kind towards the weak and Bert, such a sweet guy, a little bashful, but strong-willed and tender. The weight of their duty is crushing them.
I think the next course they are going to take is go back to Sina. Maybe. They still need Eren, they might get Historia in the process and after what Armin said (smart little shit, he's so observant, might not be big or strong but he sure knows how to deliver them emotional blows), about Annie being tortured, they might try to get her too, but they would have to go incognito and i'd bet my legs Armin is counting on this to catch them.

Terra7 In reply to IoNekta [2013-11-27 06:26:59 +0000 UTC]
It's understandable to miss things. :] I don't read the manga but I've browsed through some chapters and have an idea of what goes on. It's important to keep in mind that there are subtle differences between the two. This applies more to Eren than most, where his friendship with Annie was omitted from the anime script (perhaps because it will be emphasized at a later date) but as a result he became more "power-of-anger-destroy-enemies-shonen" than the shaken and confused individual that he was in the manga, trying to understand what the outsider's [Annie's] cause was.
I like how they each cope with the pain differently. Bert internalizes everything, Reiner pretends he isn't doing the actions, and Annie pretends it's a "game".
A plot in Sina makes sense, I'm hoping for it because Hanji brought to life the issue of the Wall Cult (who know about the origins of the titans and the titans inside the walls). We'll also see if Armin was bluffing about Annie's torture. I don't know what to believe at this point because it's very possible.

Oh yeah, agreed. I can link you to the page where i read the manga if you are interested, there are all the chapters and the translation is okay. Yes, absolutely, they tend to "make the hero stand" a lot more in the anime and kinda mitigate the emotional turmoils of him and the other characters. It's not just about Eren befriending Annie (she offers to teach him how to fight in the manga, ain't she cute? Yes, hopefully they will go back to that in the second season of the anime), it's also Titan Annie's disfigurement and Annie's apathic attitude in the end of the anime. There's an interesting post about that on tumblr: nekture.tumblr.com/post/682576… .
Yep. Nicely put, that's exactly what they do to cope with the pain and horror (man, i want to hug them now so bad ;A.
Uuuh, the fanatics. But as part of the Military Insitution the Survey Corps has to respect the Government and the Church. What Hanji did with that priest was reckless and there could have been some very serious consequences. Their hands are tied. But maybe Krista is the key to unlocking that mystery?
We don't know if they've managed to get through the hardened-skin/crystal-thing that encases Annie, hopefully not and Armin was just bluffing, but if they do get through to Annie, you can bet your eyelids they are not going to try to coax information out of her by offering her cookies and tea. They are too desperate. They've lost too many and the situation is too dire. If Levi is willing to kick the bejeesus out of Eren to prove a point and "save" him, what would he be willing to do to Annie, after waht she's done?
For Annie's sake (and Bert's sanity), i hope this is not the case. But it would add another scary shade of black to the Survey corps.

Sure, I'd like to read more of it, if you have the link. Agreed, I think one needs to read the manga to understand Annie's character depth. The part where I felt the anime was really forced was when they cut her dialogue with Marlo (Military Police HQ courtyard) about the corruption of Wall Sina's governance system, how that system crushes the good guys and they become scum in the end. It was the first time she went out of her way to speak and defend her personal view on Sina. The anime left it at "I know you're [Marlo] right because you say all the right things, even if you may be an idiot". I think the manga dialogue was important to the plot because it brings up the corruption in Sina that I mentioned in my other reply. It also proves that Annie does get "swept with the flow" (like she says in the anime), because as she's powerless to act against the corruption and chooses to meander somewhere along the borderlines of "good" and "bad"/"scum"/"corrupt" guys. Too bad the director cut it in favor of Eren-protagonist-power. Though I feel sometimes directors cut story in favor of action sequences if they target their shows for a younger audience.
About Hanji, I hear they treat her somewhat indifferently in the anime (mainly for comic relief so far). From several parts I've read in the manga, she's a serious and work-driven individual/ squad leader.
An interesting theory about Annie's crystal that I ran into: speculation says that Bert, who emits high-pressure steam in his titan form, will use that power to thaw Annie's crystal. It's a possibility, I think.

Absolutely! Here is the link: www.onemanga.me/shingeki_no_ky… .
I agree with you completely. Some very important parts are cut out. And some tiny details that might not seem like much but i feel are very important are omitted (for example, in the manga, after Annie in titan form crashes against the church where the pastor was preaching, the pastor runs after her screaming "titans out of the walls they are holy bla bla", and while he does this, HE STEPS ON THE DEAD, it shows you where his priorities lay).
Ah, sight, they tend to do this yes. Going towards the "hero-centric" approach for the benefit of the young male audience because they feel that they will be their main target group (they often do that though, i guess the most blatant example is in the Harry Potter movies). Hopefully, after seeing the impact of the series, they might try to correct that wrong a bit and follow the manga more, but who knows.
Ah yes, Hanji. She's one of my fav characters. They do depict her as some drooling titan nut more often than not in the anime. But in the manga, despite her cheerful (and slightly reckless) disposition she is shown as a pensive person and a very capable leader. I also feel the fact that she thinks outside the box and actually LIKES titans, probably makes her the best chance humanity has against titans (mmmh this might sound stupid, but i do feel that, to truly defeat your enemy, you have to have a deep understanding of it, and that only comes with, surprisingly enough, love).
Ha, interesting theory! Maybe he'll also thaw her heart (-cough- OTPing so bad -cough-).

Thanks!
Wow! The pastor was stepping on dead bodies? Comes to show the Walls are more important to them than the people who worship them!
It's funny, because save for the last 2-3 episodes everything else from the anime looked to be a near duplicate of the manga, even the camera angles (this is going by my very quick page flipping; the only parts I've read substantially are Annie's). The hero-centric kind of weakened the anime... especially Eren's character. He went from the confused, shaken, saddened guy that he was in the manga to the rage-driven individual in the anime. On the other hand, I liked how the anime treated Mikasa better at the end of the female titan arc. She seemed shaken by Annie's actions, not cold-hearted towards her (the part beside Eren when he asked if Annie was ok; by Eren's bedside). Overall, I get the feeling that the anime treats her and Annie as having a deep respect for one another on the basis of some level of camaraderie, less so rivalry)although it may have started with the latter). True, Mikasa can be cold-hearted, but they seem to get along just fine (when Mikasa asks Annie if she's seen Eren, just before Armin gives her the news of his death, she asked her in the manner you would a friend, not a rival). The manga seems to show they more as rivals.
Hanji's one of my favourites too! :] I agree with you completely, she's so capable in the manga. She's also not afraid to take the measures necessary to gain intel (threatening to throw the pastor off the Wall; feigning respect and trust to get info from the corrupt soldiers in the last chapter). She's smart, and knows how to extract the info she needs. it's a shame the anime doesn't stress this side of her much. :/
-cough- Bert you can do it -cough- run away home with her, get married and live happily ever after -cough- Hahaha!

Yeah! I know right?? (here is the comic page, if you want to see: z.mhcdn.net/store/manga/8886/0… )
Huh, i didn't notice that (another thing to view with pause when i read the manga again), still, Mikasa's love for Eren makes her view Annie as a rival (she must have spent a lot of time with him during training, which made Mikasa, who has never shared Eren with another female friend, jealous. They got physically close more than once too, which prompted Mikasa to throw Reiner at them once, just for good measure XD).
I guess we can't really know what goes on in Mikasa's head, but i still feel she was a little jealous of Annie from day one, because Eren showed interest in her techninques, and Annie might actually be the only person who could defeat Mikasa on a one on one combat. Was there some respect too? Could be. Did she also feel betrayed by her? Probably (after she knew Annie would not be joining the Recon Corps with Eren and her, she probably even liked her better). But would she strike her down if she felt she was protecting Eren? In a heart beat. It's hard to tell if she holds back when she attacks the trio. She nearly killed Bert and Reiner. Her views on the world make her a very driven individual, and her traumatizing childhood experience means she will stop at nothing when it comes to defending what she feels is her family. She already lost them once, she is not going to lose them again.
Oh yeah, the scene on top of the wall with the pastor is one of my favs! Yay, Hanji love! For a "shonen" manga, the way women are portrayed and how varied they are in appearances, abilities and personalities is pretty damn neat!
Haha, damn, BertxAnnie love just exploded from a couple of sentences in the manga! XD But i do feel this couple makes a lot of sense. What with them going through the same kind of ordeal.
-cough- yes please let that happen -cough-

Terra7 In reply to IoNekta [2014-01-05 21:15:36 +0000 UTC]
Wow! He steps right on the corpse's arm!! Unbelievable, a pastor at that!
Completely understandable. XD I feel it's Mikasa's protectiveness of Eren that makes her view Annie as a rival, and also very likely because it's another girl who shares a bond with him (not to mention who can stand up to Mikasa). Hence, physical contact between Eren and another lady is a big no-no in Mikasa's book, haha, as you said.
Regarding Mikasa striking down Bert and Reiner, she stakes later on that she hesitated to do so the first time but will strike off their heads when she next meets them. It's interesting, because it's Mikasa's drive to protect Eren that defined her skills as a soldier, but that same devotion is also her downfall in battle because she looses her level-headedness in fights where Eren is threatened and is unable to make the appropriate battle calls (e.g. she fights titan Annie rather then get Eren to safety, as stated by Revaille).
true, I appreciate how varied the personalities are of all the women characters. Even the males, though to a lesser degree (Bert stands out for me, with his timid personality).
Haha! It's funny because in the early chapters Annie was telling Jean "don't go thinking that we're together [her and Bert]", in regards to them both aspiring to join the Military Police, after which Jean just laughed. I think she noticed that Bert tended to hang around her, and he likely started staring when she didn't want him around. I respect them a lot as a pairing. Annie made so many enemies with her mission that I feel the needs that extra pillar, not only her father, to support her and care for her. It's sad when you have to betray your friends and become the pariah... People don't always want to be alone, as much as Annie may suggest she prefers it.
-cough cough- Bert and Annie...

I KNOW RIGHT? That's fanatics for you.
I find the little angry looks and spats between the characters quite endearing. They are just teenagers after all, of course there's going to be some jealousy and rib-poking! ^^
Ah. Interesting point you make there about Mikasa. And i agree with you 100%!
Oh, the men are all different too. But it's just that i tend to be desinterested in series that have unremarkable/bland/i'm-cute-and-can-kick-ass-kawai-yay/i scream a lot/only for the boobs female characters. And this show/manga has the coolest array of femmes. I suppose it's because it's not often you see this that i'm just dazzled (happily dazzled).
Uh, such beautiful words... Yes, yes and absolutely. The fact their personalities don't seem to mesh right away makes it all better. She is blunt and sometimes aggressive, he is quiet, mostly reserved. But both have this resigned sadness inside them...
In the meanwhile we shall mitigate our beruani feels with fanart, yours mostly. XD But i also like drawing them (my beruani fanart is only on my tumblr, though). If you ever want to make a beruani art trade or some such (or have some nice ideas and would like to share the bulk of the work), i'd be happy to join in/help out! :>

True, that. :'[
Same, especially the glares that Annie and Mikasa toss at one another. I have to ask: who do you think won their bout? I feel it was a tie (like they disbanded when Shadis arrived, along with all the spectators).
Agreed, I'm not too fond of female characters like the ones you mentioned either. Though, at times, I feel it's less the fault of the character than the writers/directors who push for the occasional (or frequent) questionable antics. It's why I prefer to watch animes and read mangas with sensible/strong female leads (Black Lagoon, Ergo Proxy, Claymore, etc.).
They compliment each other well *infinite smile*. I imagine Bert will do all these nice things to make her happy, and Annie will occasionally indulge in them without admitting it, haha.
Haha, that about covers my life on a daily basis (mitigating feelings through art)! And if I can make others happy by uploading my work, I will continue to do so. I just wish my art could magically ink, colour, and upload itself though. :] Actually, a Bert-Annie art trade or a collaboration sounds very interesting, I'm totally interested in doing one! Regarding a collaboration, I think our art styles compliment one another, especially the inking and the cell shading. That should work out quite nicely. :]
Ah, I didn't know that you had a tumblr. Can I ask what it is?

IoNekta In reply to Terra7 [2014-01-07 16:44:25 +0000 UTC]
Ah, i'm sure it was a tie. But the truth is, who would win would be anybody's guess, because Annie has the skill to beat Mikasa but Mikasa is bigger and stronger than Annie. So if Mikasa gets a good hold of Annie, Annie is done for. But Annie has been trained specifically to beat bigger and stronger opponents, so Mikasa has her work cut out for her... hmmm... tough call (i'd be rooting for Annie, though, she is my fav character after all).
*nods approvingly* (also, taking note of those mangas you mentioned)
Uuu, absolutely. Like if he gets a new hairpin for her, she will look at it as if it where a dumb pebble, but then wear it the next day, and when asked, she will only say this hairpin is better so what (but a smile will shine there for a fraction of a second). I bet Bert is pretty sensitive, he'd pick up on those kind of things. :3
Art is cathartic. We are lucky to have this way to vent. And i feel the same thing, if it spreads happiness, by all means, let it be out there. ^^ But ugh yeah you can say that again. I got a folder-full of sketches but daaaamn i'm slow. -_-
UuuUUUuuh goodie goodie goodie. I won't be free-ish, art wise, until the 16th of january. But feel free to balance any ideas my way!

Terra7 In reply to IoNekta [2014-01-13 01:38:25 +0000 UTC]
I'm rooting for Annie (bias because she's my favourite). True, it's why it would be a difficult fight. Mikasa likely has to not rely on her strength, because force works to Annie' benefit, who can spin it right back at her. I always imagined the two would lock in a wrestle-hold and try to tip each other's balance --one of those super-intense fight moments where there's a ton of balance control but not much physical movements going on and everyone waits in shock for the outcome.
You might also try Gundam Wing (anime), Legend of Korra (TV), Canaan (anime), and Hellsing (anime, the character Integra in particular). I can list a few more if you're interested.
Annie wouldn't make a bid deal of the gift upon receiving it but she'd appreciate it deeply on the inside. :] Bert would totally catch those little smiles and softer moments. He'd want to run over and hug her but she'd just maneuver her way out of his grasp very skillfully!
It's terrible, I started a Tumblr account to upload my sketches but I don't have the heart to put up unfinished art, haha!
No worries, it'll be a tough academic year for me so I doubt I'll be any faster, though I will try. XD Thanks for the link! Does an art collaboration or an art trade sound better to you? :]

IoNekta In reply to Terra7 [2014-01-13 16:25:08 +0000 UTC]
Yeah! Go Annie! Mmm... can you imagine? Annie and Mikasa in a deadlock, muscles tensed, beads of sweat running down their brows and everyone just looking with rapt attention not uttering a word... until Shardis comes along and wonders why there isn't any mud under them. But i'm not sure Isayama has even thought of such a situation. In the three years of training, did they ever get into an actual fight? It is likely, if there was the right trigger, but... *shrug*
Oh, i saw Gundam Wing when i was small but i don't remember much... :/ AtlA and Lok, those i know! (my tumblr was initially created as a mostly-LoK fan-ish blog, to upload my sketches (but they are still tucked away in a folder. Argh.)), Canaan, never heard of it, joins the list then, and Hellsing i love (specially the manga/OVAs, the style is a bit weird, but cool, and if i remember well the anime was mostly focused on an overly-whiny Celes Vistoria and didn't really follow the manga, which was a pity), and yep, i still adore the character of Integra Hellsing! <3
Yes please do! I trust your judgement, don't know that many people who like anime/manga so all suggestions are welcome (although it might take me some time to actually watch them ).
Hehe, Annie would probably be mildly annoyed by the fact that Bert catches those little details and can read her mood so well. Being pretty silent people the both of them (not shy though, they have no problem talking when they want to), i bet there would be a lot of non verbal communication between them (goddamit what a cute couple they make).
I FEEL YOUR PAIN! I did exactly the same thing, my "sketch blog" turned into a a place where i reblog random things and my "fanart blog" has barely 2% of the fanart i've drawn. And it's the stupidiest thing, because i've seen some fun/great sketches (some of them uploaded through a low quality camera phone), and i'm so glad they shared it anyway. And here i am unable to do the same thing, fooling myself into believing i'll get around to all of them eventually. Eeep. -_-
Ah, no worries. Take it easy. Whatever you give us is very much appreciated.
They both sound great! The thing is i see myself as a bit of the reacher here (your skills in human drawing are, well, way superior to mine XD), and i don't want to seem like i'm trying to wile you into drawing something for me or anything like that. So it's whatever you feel would be fair. A collab would be nice: tell me what takes you the longest/find it's the most tedious, and i'll do that. For example: you do the sketch (it's okay if it's already done), i'll do the lines, you do flat colors, then i'll shade, and you do the final tweaks until you are satisfied? (Important: what art programs do you usually use?)

Haha! Shadis. Speaking of mud, he probably gets cadets to polish his shoes, I've never seen a speck or grime on them! I think Isayama will leave that one [Mikasa Annie dual] up to the fans. It won't be fun if he reveals everything.
I saw Gundam Wing 9 years ago, it's something I have to re-watch on a clear head and in chronological order to understand in its entirety. As for Hellsing, I've only seen the HD remake (Ultimate), which doesn't focus too much on Seras but more so Alucard and Integra. Hmm... other anime/manga with strong female characters. You can try Jormungand, which is getting a brilliant dub by Funimation! The female lead is witty.
Ah yes, Annie will be the strong non-verbal communication of love/cute feelings kind of gal, haha! Well, Bert would likely be shy around her in the beginning (never confessing feelings and all, not finding right words, etc.).
True, I appreciate those kinds of small rough sketches (even through camera-phone) but I can't bring myself to upload those kinds. I'm really interested in a collaboration! X] Most tedious for me is the colouring/shading component. Pencils and ink usually go together for me because I fix my errors while inking. What are your preferences/ what do you find most tedious? I use Photoshop CS5.

Absolutely. He looks like the kind of guy that loves teaching discipline to the new cadets by making them keep everything very clean and tidy. And good leather needs proper upkeeping so he probably has a cadet polish his shoes to a shine every morning! XD
Yeah, the HD remake of Hellsing is the good one. All right, thanks! If you think of any more of them (movies too), just drop me a line whenever and i'll write it down. Thank you!
Bert's awkwardness is adorable. I know find the initial you-bother-me-don't-care and i-care-i-stare play between them cute (so many feels based on one phrase and one reaction in the manga XD It's more than most ships but i really hope we aren't getting ahead of ourselves!).
Neat! Yeah a collab would be great! I usually find flat colors are the most tedious aspect, because sometimes colors from screenshots don't look right and i rack my brain waaaay too much trying to find good colors for clothes. -_-
That could work too! If you've got a sketch somewhere you'd think would look great in full colors, then maybe you can do the inking and i'll attempt the coloring/shading?
Photoshop works great. I have both CS and CS5 (i'm using two computers now, one has CS, the other CS5, they are both crappy computers, but hopefully i'll get a new computer soon), it doesn't matter that much except for the very final tweaks since all PS versions are compatible. Just think about it, there's no hurry whatsoever.

True. Even leather couches need to be waxed and polishes, the finish just goes bad if you don't do it. Let's hope Shadis doesn't have a lot of leather couches, for the sake of the cadets! Not that the amount of leather belts is lacking, haha.
A couple more came to mind. Try "Trinity Blood" (manga), less relevant but still good. Also, "Trigun Maximum" (manga), that one was a fun read and treats its characters fairly, no "fan-fueled" depictions. "Cowboy Bebop" (anime), a must for any anime fan! Plus, "Ghost in the Shell: 2nd Gig" (i.e. second season, anime; seemed to resolve my issues with the costumes of the protagonist in the first, haha). Also, "Gundam Wing" if I didn't recommend it. Lots of memorable ladies there. :]
That in itself is a pretty neat form of interaction. XD I don't doubt that Annie's picked up on the staring habit of his, she just hasn't formulated a response yet, hehe. Though when it comes down to it, if hanging around and staring become a no-no in her book, he has no choice but to... speak! Curiously, I wonder if he's liked her since childhood.
Great! Actually, I can pencil, ink, and add flat colours, I don't mind the latter. Maybe you can work on the background/ ground reflections (I love those watered-down transparent reflections that you add in your drawings!) I can add final tweaks, as you suggested previously. Wow, this is sounding pretty exciting! I assumed an AoT theme for the image, do you have something particular in mind? Titan trio, Annie and Bert, Eren, maybe Jean (never drawn him before), etc.

Well the upkeeping of their gear is vital. Just like in the army, they are probably taught to dismantle it, clean it, and put it back together as often and as quick as possible. Malfunctioning gear could very well be the end of you (Jean knows about that XD).
Oh, goodie goodie. Cowboy Bebop is the only one i've seen entirely (also some disbanded chapters of Gundam Winga a long time ago, but that's like not seeing it really).
Psht, that would be a new layer of adorable! Headcannon of mine is that he did know her from childhood (well, more like seen her, never talked to her or very very little). They lived in the same village, but her father was a newcomer there, a stranger, and lived in a house a little far-off from town. Annie was probably home-schooled and didn't have any friends, so to Bert she must have been like a sprite. Strange pretty blond girl with the bright eyes and stern face walking into town with her father for groceries or maybe wandering in the paths and fields, fleeing if she sighted anybody. Could you say he liked her, then? Probably not like (he didn't even know her), but was... fascinated by her? Besotted?
That would be neat! I'd love to do that! I was obviously thinking either trio, Bert/Annie or just Annie (they are my favs after all and can always use the love), but feel free to do whatever you want (i'd rather kick myself in the back of the head than stiffle your creativity).
Yush yush, this is sounding awesome!

I didn't know this but apparently Berthold is the best at using 3DM Gear from his class. Though I wonder how that's gauged (maneuverability, turning, smoothness, etc.?).
Gundam Wing was shown on TV back in 1997 here, it's when I first got into it. Pretty good series with memorable characters. Oh! Try watching "Cyber Six"! You'll love that. Canadian cartoon, short but sweet, great female lead. :]
Agreed, it's how I imagine it as well. :] Not sure if I told you this but I suspect Annie's father is from inside Sina, like one of those two guys in the recent chapter that killed Pastor Nick (the "inner-most" forces, the ones under the King, I can't recall the name). Not much prof but I'm basing it on his combat proficiency --it's unlikely that a simple farmer or the like would know how to fight like that, given Trainee Corps doesn't teach cadets fighting like that. And that might make sense regarding the titan serum, it would explain how "Mountain Village" had access to the thing and are turning humans into titans (say, if he brought I along when he left the Walls). Not sure if he's on the King's side but I suspect the guys pulling the strings are trying to make it seem like "outsiders" are attacking the Walled Cities when in reality it might just be the guys at the centre who are unsettling things by working from the outside (from villages such as "Mountain Village"). Maybe he's one such guy. Ouch for Annie if it's true... another thing to not forgive your father about.
Same! Preferences between Trio, Annie or Bert/Annie?

Oooh, no idea. I thought Jean was. Huh. You go Bert!
Cool cool cool. "Cyber six" added to the list! Thanks!
Yeah yeah, you mentioned it before and i completely agree with you. What you say is highly plausible, what with all the things he knows and his combat skills. He might have decided to go to the "mountain village" because of his titan-turning project or because they figured out he was part of the opposition/turned into a spy and was forced into exile (if he didn't want to die). Yes, Annie's father might have a lot of explaining to do. Who knows, maybe he is perfectly aware of Annie's situation but has decided not to act upon it to avoid jeopardizing his position. But all this is just crazy speculation for now. Hopefully. HOPEFULLY. The manga will turn back again towards the trio and ymir. At least mention them. >_>
I finally got my new computer, so i can art whenever.
Hmmm, i'd say BertxAnnie, or just Annie if you are bored of drawing BertxAnnie, or all of them if you have a good idea. Aghfgxs, i don't know, i like all your arts. Don't rack your brain too much about it. If you are just happily doodling and end up making something that you think might gain whatever with my skills in the mix, then that's perfect! ^^

I'm told the official SNK supplement book revealed that, among things like Bert and Armin being good friends (I see them reading books together no problem, haha).
That's a fun one! In fact, I'm going to find that and watch it. X]
Ymir, Bert and Reiner are in Shiganshima if I recall correctly. Pretty sure they should be going to the basement soon. Having lost Krista and Eren, the basement might hold some useful key to this "coordinate" business. Here's something fun: I was introduced to SNK through an ad on youtube advertising the 1st manga volume. With that image of Eren in 3DM Gear jumping at the colossal titan, I figured it was a sci-fi set on Titan (Saturn's moon) where they fight super-sized humanoids! Waa~y off! XD
Yay!
I think I have an idea for what we can work on: a comic strip joke about Bert giving Annie an oversized amount of flowers. :] I'll upload a preview and if you like it we can starts there. It's been one my computer uncompleted for far too long. X[
