Events take place following Annie's escape from captivity in Wall Sina. Which soldier struck her the blow --was it Revaille, for the sake of his fallen comrades, or Mikasa, out of retribution for her family? Moreover, what will Berthold, who risks becoming even more alone, do?

She never got stabbed (though the manga might suggest otherwise given the last chapter), so these events never actually happened.

Haha that could be true. I think there's a deeper reason though, like the manga is going to somehow twist around and justify their actions. Like, as in, there's some urgent cause. Not sure yet though. ;w;

They have their own reasons for fighting, which have yet to be disclosed. As for who's fighting on the right side, that depends on the point of view. We'll find out. It would be interesting if the good guys turned out to be fighting for the "wrong" cause.
