I found inspiration for this picture in Red's song "Break Me Down". It fits Terra perfectly, with his struggle to reclaim himself from Lord Xenhort's corruption. A corruption that produces a false identity for him (Terranort) and, when his physical body is sacrificed, a Heartless (Ansem) and a Nobody (Xemnas). Aqua, his comrade, is ultimately unable to save him from the evil that engulfs him.

The picture took me 3 hours to ink and 4 days to colour.

Yup, there's no way they can end the saga just because Sora's story is over. To tell you the truth, I've never been a fan of the KHearts saga outside of Birth By Sleep so I'm hoping we get a BBS2 and not a resolution of the BBS events in KH3, which I'm assuming is Sora-centred. X]

Hehehehe... you know, thanks to Master Xehanort and his damned reports I think I have an idea of what is to happen on KH3... you know, the stuff about the one who opens the door to the light being reborn as an entity with the power to re-shape the world as they see fit... that's why I say they can give KH3 a sad ending xD

Actually, Master Xenhort`s reports are news to me since I have a really vague idea what happens in Kingdom Hearts outside of Birth By Sleep. XD But I think my friend`s told me about that.

Well, what can I say... xD Master Xehanort's reports are a terrible, amazing thing. They let you know so much... they tell you how the world was when the Light existed in the World, and how it was shattered by men's ambition~ then he writes that he wishes to regenerate the World by opening the gates to Kingdom Hearts and equilibrate light and darkness... then he became twisted and started to do evil things XD and mainly he says that anyone who opens the gates to the Light will "die" and be reborn as a "supreme entity" with the power to reshape the World as they see fit.

Wow! I'm guessing he wants to be the entity with all that power. His own ambitions seem to have corrupted him in the process. Is Kingdom Hearts a good or a bad place? If I recall correctly, didn't the gate to KH open in Birth By Sleep when Terra became Terranort?

Well... xD as far as I know, the Light abandoned the world, kinda scared of the Masters who fought over it, and secluded itself from the World creating a gate that kept it sealed. That door is Kingdom Hearts... but it can only be opened with the X-Blade, that is created when two equal powers, one of pure light, one of pure darkness clash. In the moment the X-Blade was forged, Terra got distracted, worried about Ventus, and Xehanort used that moment to take over his body, but before he could reach Ven/Van and the X-Blade, Terra's armor fought him, and he lost consciousness. While this happened, Aqua fought Ventus' body, and Ven fough Vanitas inside his heart, and so, they could destroy that X-Blade... When Terranort awoke in Radiant Garden and Aqua found him, the weapon had already been destroyed.

Wow, it's a long story. XD But thank you for that summary. I've never been able to understand Kingdom Hearts in general because it seems so complex. Everything is connected. XD

LOL it is... XD I was trying to do a chronology of evens (detailed) this summer, but in sight I have only two more free weeks and a WHOLE LOAD of drawings to do (I am doing some heavy memes of around 10-15 drawings each DX), I believe I'll take much longer to work on it XD and I'll make it much less detailed... if you wish, I can send you a link around christmas XD I believe I can have it finished by then LOL

Only in photoshop XDD sadly, I must color all these... I managed somehow to finish three yesterday (color), draw the sketches and lineart of five, and today I only did two XD! I hope tomorrow is a better day XwX;
