Description With the definate increase of artwork in the Terraspace sub-genre, a true look into it's immensive possibilities has been needed for quite some time. ~ TerraSpace presents to the community the first in a series of guides based around this area of art. *alyn has become one of the biggest names in the genre, so it only seems natural that he be the one to give this introduction to the public. With inspiring works of art and a thorough amount of information this guide will prove to settle anyone into what goes into these types of art pieces.

I have never quite understood what Terraspace is. Now I do Do you know if you can make the amazing planets on PSP9? It is the only program I have at the moment, and I need to know what ones I need to buy.

Terraspace is a genre of art which combines both space art, and landscapes. The genre was first created in a collaberation between ^alyn and ~Naithin , but I don't have time to find the link for you, sorry. Pieces tend to consist of a terrain element lower down in the piece, and some space work above the atmosphere of the 'planet'. By far the most common way of creating a scene is to use a free 3 dimensional landscape generator known as Terragen to create a landscape, and Adobe Photoshop to create a space scene. Ashundar is a good place to look for terragen help, and ~scifisrc has a wealth of resources and tutorials to help you with space work.

From personal experience I can tell you that creating planets is...impossible in PSP7+8, and I doubt 9 has got any new rendering features.
