A little painting I made based off of "The Absinthe Drinkers" (Les buveurs d'absinthe), 1881, by the French painter Jean-François Raffaëlli (1850–1924).

I first saw this piece while it was on exhibit in The Legion of Honor/ de Young museum in San Francisco. Of course, the subjects have changed a bit in my version to reflect characters a bit closer to home.....
