Description Usually I don't upload stuff like this (If I did, this page would be a lot more crowded), but I've been seeing loads of stuff just like this, where they just scale the subjects such that the top pixels represents height.
This is wrong as this includes things like crests, which don't count for height as they're not really load bearing and are usually quite flexible.
Might as well set the record straight.
(also I just love this pokemon)

Also the reason why there's a 1.4x size Corviknight is because Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee introduced a size variation mechanic and that's as big as it gets.

Originally made for a /v/ thread, reposted to twitter, and then reposted to here.
Edit: replaced chicken-chan with the SWSH player character (though kept them the same size)

Edit of 13-Nov-2019:
This is wrong
LGPE size variation does not exist in SWSH
and Corviknight's height does indeed include its crest which is dumb
see
I will keep this up for historical reasons

Dex sizes are pretty ridiculous anyway to be honest. Very small pokemon are so heavy it's absurd (A 6.5kg Eevee shouldn't be so easy to carry on top of your head lol) and large pokemon tend to be way too light (animals the size of Steelix should weight multiple tons, not 400kg). The way the dex also says "height" is so misleading when talking about pokemon that are snake-like or otherwise more horizontal.

Just unfortunate since there's so many confusing metrics involved. But regardless, I loved size variations in LGPE so I hope it stays as a feature in SwSh. A massive Corviknight would be absolutely dreamy

Yeah, it's really vague.  Don't even get me started about all the "its actually wingspan" posts.  I ended up writing a model viewer myself, and got all the pokemon models, so that I could see their sizes directly.

If you have a bird character, and it doesn't hit its head on the ceiling when it stands up, it's too small!

I'd be surprised if they size Corviknight down in the anime.

well, one of the key features of its character is that it carries people around, so it has to be big
