So, if you have been with me for a bit and you have seen my art titled "DEFECT" featuring a little glitched boy for my Wreck-It Ralph Next Generation AU, this is him in his late teens.

If you couldn't tell already, yes, Steep does look familiar to you. That is because Steep is a reset version of King Candy! Although the main Sugar Rush racers tried to take the best of care for Steep as a child, once he aged up and grew into his features, they all began to distance themselves from him. As a result, he took up smoking candy cigarettes, drinking ciders and seltzers (and in some rare depictions, he smokes tea leaves) to ignore the feelings that come with the neglect; if he let his emotions get the best of him, his defect would trigger often. And the worst part of it is that he doesn't know why those he considered to be family are distancing themselves from him now: he just assumes it's either because he can't drive a kart (defect) or because he is no longer a cute kid.

Despite all of this, he still sees himself as a Sugar Rush character. He is well loved by the Next Gen Sugar Rush children that call him "cousin", and he even embraces the tea-theme he had first adopted.
