I'd appreciate it if you comment before you fav~! :]

This was supposed to have another character, an amp, a plug and a story.
But I cropped it 'cause I knew I would never finish it, so I simply outlined t3h girl.
Mostly 'cause I wanted to put her on my myspace page or something.
But I DID finish the details on theee awesome thin body electric before I submitted it. Turned out a lot better than I thought.

Gahh.
I hate having to choose a category for stuff.
I mean, what is this? This drawing is what it is. The End.

It's like labeling people.
Labeling is baaaaaaad

this picture fits me perfectly. except i am not a woman. anyways, i am a singer/song writter. and i feel like i'm wasting my time writting. and wasting my time trying to make music, since there isn't really anyone around that wants to play music to play music. i am now going to fav this. keep on a drawin

Ahh don't get discouraged. Writing and making music is never a waste of time, especially if you're not doing it for the audience but more so for yourself.
And if anything, playing music alone can be a very good thing.

Thank you very much.
Don't ever give up.

whos to say whos to say. i been drawing and shit lately though. which i kinda gave up on. i dunno if you ever get in those ruts where you don't want to do anything art wise. but lately i've these creative bursts and shit. and that hasn't happened in a while. so even if it isn't with music, atleast i have my drawings. if not, photography. and i'm adding you as a friend. i haven't been on here in a while. kinda neglecting what i should be embracing most i guess.

I do like and hate how that happens. Usually with me, I'd need really big, major reasons to create things; otherwise I can't concentrate at all on drawing or writing. It's terrible, but once I have the idea down straight, there's no stopping it and it's great.
And thanks.

thats crazy. sometimes i get a tiny bit of inspiration and i can just roll with it. but when i second guess the spark is when i stop what i'm doing completely. it's funny how artists can never exactly understand what makes them tick.

Oh, I know what you mean.
Sometimes I try not to think about it too hard, and just "roll with it" like you say hah.
I say artists can spend too much time trying to figure out what makes them tick.

i was at my friend bob's house yesterday. and we were discussing figure drawing. and he gave me some good tips. things better artists and teachers neglected to say through the years. but aside from that. i'm still waiting for someone to really inspire me. i don't have a muse and it sucks. anytime i cared about the music i wrote, or drawings i've made. there was some woman that these things came from. that is what makes me tick. so i play the waiting game.... in the mean time i want to just work on developing my skill. in the short time i've just fucked around, my ability has started showing itself.

Personally, I think the times we find our real ability is when there isn't much to influence us, not even a little spark for inspiration. There are the events and the people who make us think or feel things that are a part of what we create, and maybe it's just me or my head developing late but there's really something about focus that I like sometimes.
