The operator's vital signs are carefully monitored and, when symptoms associated with receiving a lethal wound are detected, the PMCAP automatically euthanizes the operator.[4] Portions of the corpse are then slushed, and the mind is ghosted.

These ghosts form the backbone of the Warehouse's paramilitary capabilities.[5][6] They are the only ambulation rated to carry the W23 PEP gun, as living operators are discouraged.[7] The PMCAP has an active service life of 13 years, though in some cases, improper storage procedures have reduced this by up to 4 years.[8][9][10][11][12] Telespatial capabilities are included in all PMCAP units S/N [REDACTED] and later.[13]
