My friend commissioned me to make a 3D version of her cute cyborg Elise.

There must be a forcefield around her to keep her from getting dirty from spills or things like that, and it's holding her outfit away from her skin. You can see shadows cast by her outfit on her skin on her stomach, breast, and just beneath her neck.

Well her outfit is not completely skin tight, and she is good at her job

To me it looks as though her clothes are being held more than a centimeter away from her skin in all directions, which is what would be necessary to cast the sort of shadows on her skin that are in the pictures of her.
With the outfit looking like it should be skin-tight, paying attention to the apparent gap between body and clothes can really make a difference in the believability of the image.

Unfortunately your starting from the false assumption that her bodysuit is skin tight, and paper thin.
