well, celestials are supposed to neutral and love all mortals, look for the good in them and really not play favorites. To use divine powers to sway the outcome of mortal matters and to even worse, start having favorites could start to "corrupt" her. She's supposed to love and care for everyone equally. Having favorites can be a problem over time if she gets overly attached

It's a polite way of saying "lower/lesser realms"
As a species they can be kinda condescending and act better than everyone else. Being divine entities made of purity and light can make a collective ego pretty big.
Celestia left because of that. She wanted to help out. There's a few more that think like she does, but she's in the severe minority
