Probably.  Marvel at some point has made a character using almost every word in the english dictionary.  lol

I actually picked up a fondness for the name from Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda series.

As long as my character is completely different, or at least different enough they can't call copyright infringement legitimately.  Like Spider-Man.  Marvel's Spider-Man is always hyphenated. So if someone was to make Spiderman, or Spider Man and make it obviously different enough, then it's separate. 

Plus using just common words like Knight, Sword, Beast, etc they can't own those names/words.  I've spent time checking up on all this.  Like they have giant mutant killing machines and call it a Sentinel.  I have my hero named Sentinel.  No way anyone could say they are the same thing, so it's all gravy
