I'm pretty sure that catching Dib was hard and getting him to came to the Massive was even much harder.

I'm not sure if Dib will fully recover from losing his home and family. As you said, it was his home, no matter how awful it had been to him. But one thing for sure is, Zim will do everything to keep Dib alive and around.Β

I see, quite an interesting insight. Their relationship after that would be quite tense one. And yes, it'll probably take years for Dib to come to terms with the lose. He find it cruelty while most others, especially Irkens, see it as great mercy and as you said, honour. After all, he get be the Tallest companion. The amount of angst will be high, but maybe there will be some small moments of content, at least I hope.

For me I prefer a caring but just to sertian people, but in the same time he doesn't show it easily (I like when he show it as well). And I like him being strong in the same time and kind of cruel. I really hate when people make Zim ether weak or too sensitive. He's an invader! And even if he was filer at this, this doesn't take away the fact that he have been training for really too long. So I think he have to be at least in a good physical condition, and know some fight moves, and being an Irken he might be stronger than most of humans.
Though I don't mean to insult anyone style or whoever like sensitive Zim. It's just my opinion.Β
