First post of the year, let's go!
I wasn't planning on revisiting Palm so soon after having introduced him last Christmas , but I wanted to show you guys the new plot development we're getting for him, courtsy of my good friend Shipposhi AKA Yuki

You see, Yuki is also working on her very own Pokémon fan setting, and she mentioned it would be a fun idea to ship my Professor Palm with her very own Professor Sago. So now, the two of them are dating!
Sago is actually from the Lafloresii Region, Yuki's own Pokémon fan-region based on IRL Florida, and studies Pokémon migration and convergent evolution. She met Palm in a conference a few years ago and the two of them immediately hit it off, and eventually they started dating. While their obligations in their respective physical workplaces force them to keep their relationship as a long-distance one, the two lovebirds find time to visit one another regularly, and often collaborate in their own research. Represented here is one such occasion, with the two of them discussing results of their latest experiment. Maybe when the work day is done they'll go on a cute dinner date together!

Funnily enough, I wasn't aware that sago was also a reference to a kind of palm tree, I guess it makes this more thematic lol
