We're back once again to bring you the new episode of Ellie's Strange Life!
Today, we have some light shed upon the situation. Phoebe reveals some of her motives, as well as what might be actually going on with "Ellie".
I think alternate Janice works nicely as a sort of sidekick to Phoebe, having been introduced to magic after being taken from her universe.
It's too goddamn late, I have to sleep. x.x

OK maybe I didn't get that through well enough because I was tired af but
basically Phoebe knows that the "Ellie" they currently have doesn't belong to their universe. She's assuming that, in the same way that he found himself in their universe, so did their Ellie find herself in his home universe. She's hoping to talk to her own counterpart from that universe, and if they say "yeah, our Elliot became a girl and doesn't remember anything either" she's safe to assume that Ellie and Elliot switched universes.
