It's MerMay! Time to remember that my HACB characters exist and proceed to only do stuff with Ria in her mermaid form for the 6th year in a row lol
Nah but I wanted to update her look and show it here on DA

Here's a hypothetical (so not canon) pic of Ria emerging from the ocean and revealing her true nature as a Pelagic Mermaid to her friends. This frightens Connie, Nixie and Aumakua for rather obvious reasons (who wouldn't be shocked to see their friend turn into a mythical creature without any context whatsoever?)
Also yes, this is a reference to Birth of Venus by Sandro Botticelli, though I took some liberties with it. It's more of an exercise in composition and using ribbons, really
I'll have to post a pic with a closeup on Ria's face. I'm finally happy with how fishy her face looks
Next I'll try and upload a pic with her mean sister
