Nice! I loved this movie. I know the story was not that good (Micheal Bay film- shouldn't expect a good story), but I just watched it for the animations and awesome fight scenes, this being one of them!
I'm not sure but if I remember correctly, Crosshairs put down his goggles before jumping off but now I see this more closely- after he had jumped- I notice his goggles are up.

He did put down his goggles in the movie. These shots were taken from the original superbowl tv spot, and alot of shots were further edited later, and this was one of them

Wow that's a lot of animation render time just for a slight adjustment like that (100+ hours on average home computer). Those guys must have some really powerful hardware.

It was implied that he was killed as optimus said "calling all autobots" and he wasn't one of those

Ah yeah that's true. Although they never said that all the others were actually dead, so maybe some didn't show up because they were a long distance away or had left Earth? I guess that could be a possibility. I thought it was a little weird that the other Autobots besides Prime and Bumblebee were all new, and it didn't really say how long they had been there for but I assume they would have got their after the events of the 3rd movie. I really like the new characters- they were a lot more interesting and likable I think.

Well, most of the autobots were destroyed by Lockdown, so the only original one besides Optimus is Bumblee. The rest of the crew is probably new recruits who just arrived to Earth.

His name is Crosshair? Damn wiki told me his name was SlingShot, but then again wiki is one of the rare websites who never get their facts right. But anyway I love this Autobot. He's careless, but so freaking awesome and I love his admiration to take everything down! And his cape even makes him more bad ass looking! Even though movie didn't came out like I expected it to be Crosshair was one of the things that got my attention.

The original release name was slingshot, but they revealed it to be crosshairs once the toys came out. And yeah, i loved him too, but i would have wanted him to have more screen time
