It certainly wasn't nearly as awful as the previous three... though it does add an entire scene where the three main human characters have an argument about whether one of them is a Β pedophile... which he totally is...

DOTM was certainly a step-up from TF2, which I still herald as one of the worst movies from Hollywood, just flat-out. And the first movie annoyed me immensely for a lot of reasons, not the least of which being that it's two hours and twenty minutes long, and had Transformers on screen for exactly 22 minutes, leaving the charisma vacuums known as Shia la Beuf and Megan Fox as our real stars.
I am happy for you, though, if you enjoy the quadrilogy.
