ive only watched a couple of animated episodes. i really didn't like it. the only thing i liked was the variety of characters. the other series ive watched has been all of prime and a few episodes of beast wars.

G-1 in my eyes is still one of the best, and yeah some of the writing is a bit corny at times...but it's still a classic. That's why i loved Prime so much, because it kind of had a same feel of the G-1 in every episode.
