Like amethyst? I like the geodes and I've seen purple crystals but I prefer a polished round blue or pink rock over a spiky purple amethyst any day, because you can play with a polished rock but purple crystals aren't as nice to touch and I've never seen a smooth round purple pebble. I think my favorite gems are blue or black because they look shiny, or look like the sky. The only purple thing I can think of is amethyst and you can't really rub a chunk of amethyst between your digits. I guess it would look ok on jewelry. My friend prefers fossils.

It may sound a little mainstream, but my favorite precious rock is diamond. They have a wonderful appearance, but are pretty expensive :/ . Amethysts are beautiful, Β but I still prefering diamonds and maybe rubys.
