I made a journal about this but I also want to make a post about it. I worked in the past couple of weeks on a website/application where you can read an interactive story, but the catch is that the reader can add their own options and
consequences!

The base of this TG series is a standard 'found a genie lamp' story, but you guys can go wild with the options you make! The sky is the limit!

Welp, this was always going to happen. I'm surprised it only took a week, but I knew it'd happen at some point.
Word to the wise; from a creative standpoint, it's a really cool idea to have a story that's designed to go on infinitely in infinitely many directions, but technology is limited and it's always going to be limited to a certain extent.
If your data is still manageable, and I'm relatively sure it should be, you might want to go about recreating this in something more finite, with a bigger storage capacity. You can still let people expand it, just not as rapidly, maybe make a suggestion thread or something for it. Something like this isn't feasible, even if it is fun to have. Besides, after a while you start getting the creeps showing up, and you've got nothing in here to stop them from doing whatever.

I did my part and then some! Β Love the idea, but there needs to be a way for you or a trusted admin to go back and edit submissions. Β Some of my pictures failed to load, and there are also a lot of branches that could use some more elaboration!

I think the idea is cool so far, but it is kinda chaotic when looking through it. Some submissions are okay, while others are a bit troll-ish. Furthermore some paths kinda end straight after the transformation on some paths, while only one wish out of the three was granted.
So maybe some polishing from the creator side might be good.
