Somehow...against the laws of the universe I have done it. Somehow, without knowing it, I have found a way to break a barrier I didn't even know existed.

To make my shit look even sloppier.

I wanted to put more time into my deviations. Now, I could think them out, work on them conceptually, perfect the lines, and then make sure they come out as good as they can. Eh. Fuck that. I'll just download a freeware coloring program and spend way too long on a picture that ends up coming out "EEEEeeEEeeHHHhh..."

So. Gimp. It gets the job done when coloring sketches. I guess. I'm kind of absolutely new to this. Kind of unsure of how to go about it. So I'm just winging it. I did try for a color palette that is and sort of visually cohesive. Though instead of being vibrant and consistent, it's just boring and drab. I don't know how to handle color or shading. And I'm sure Gimp is a bit limited in comparison to Photoshop and Paint Tool Sai. Though I shouldn't blame the program.

Maybe I'll do more of these. Get a little better at it. Or not. We'll see.

I like just kind of sketching. It looks less crap. Though this is the beginning. So who knows?
