Birthday gift for ~A-TeivosYeah, long time since I submitted something, I know ^-^"
I need to get back to traditional media and train portraits for my arts classes - so this gift art has some kind of egoistic background.
Guess I never did a pencil portrait like this before.. o.o
Well I'm happy with how it turned out. In fact I expected something far worse after such a long time without drawing anything at all. o.ô
May I present to you:
Lord Teivos and his little hunting dragon, ready for breakup.

Jah.. vielleicht sollt ich öfter mal mit Bleistift arbeiten. Im Moment müh' ich mich mit einem Buntstift-Bild ab xD

Wow... seems like that pause has helped you too! I mean, the head shape, the details, the 3D appearance of the whole portrait is beyond stuff you drew previously - maybe it is because it's black and white so all the shapes are more visible, but still it makes a perfect mixture!
Also, you made him quite "mature looking" - a sort of thing I hardly ever could done so far
I could leave my eyes on that pic, thaaaaaanks a lot!
I'm really grateful for it! (I should finally start putting more pics on my walls. So this one and others wont just get stuck in Favourites section

Of course! It all looks way more coherent and all parts of the picture fit together
Later I noticed that the entire appearance looks more like "good uncle Teivos and a little draggie"
And appearently the people understood it the same way too!

Ist nach 'ner längeren Pause immer ein wenig schwierig oder? Hehe, zum Glück hält dein Kunstunterricht dich am Ball.
^^ Ist gut geworden finde ich. Schön schattiert. Die Flügelchen sind wirklich toll. In ihrer Haltung und dann ebenfalls gut schattiert.
Bis auf die Tatsache, das das kleine Flügelvieh ein wenig in der Luft zu sitzen schein, finde ich auch den Aufbau des Bildes gelungen. Mit den Blicken und überhaupt. ^^

I'm in love with the wings. It's awesome how much detail you put into the drawing, and you can sort of feel the raw emotion emanating of the dragon's face.
