Nebnoms are an anthromorphic species, the ref shown is not up to date!
Me and Seth are working on a NEW sheet together.
There are more differences concerning Lore and background story , but this here focuses mainly on Physiological aspects : D
Ok, what you see here is actually very important to both Simonetry and me.
These differences are to be taken serious, thank you all for reading :] <3

Nebber Paws can be drawn a bit more pawlike or Handlike, it is up to you, but please always draw 5 fingers on their paw/hand : D

yes they are a bit similar in some features due to the fact that they had been one and the same species untill 2016
i found it suiting them better to be anthromorphic due to the fact that they have an advanced society/are of higher intelligence
Anthromorphic characters simply seem less animalistic than quadropeds , that was the biggest reason for my decission
was one of the big reasons for the split, too- so we couldd both go our own ways without restricting one another

Oo. When i first found them, I thought they were inspired by the jollyraptors... but then there was some mention of nebs somewhere in that group... only today did I find the link to this... I am very surprised Oo
I actually like the fact that they are now... sapient bipedals, cause when I first saw a quad I was like... that looks.. odd.. now they are JRs.

haha no, they where _one_ project, Simonetry and i used to co-own JRs
but eventually we grew apart with out ideas to where they would not fit together in one species any longer.
i don't really understand your second paragraph here, NebNoms are not JRs, jrs and nebnoms used to be the same project,
but ever since the split they are entirely independedd from each other.
JRs and nebber have different lore and features ( JRs-> quadroped, Nebber -> anthromorphic, along this there are other anatomical differences like the armplates on nebber and such things)
Simonetry and i used to Coown JRs , we worked together for a few years but then agreed on a split when our ideas driftet apart too much, so that's that.
However, we're on good term.

That's a different story with all the original species I've heard... it's unique... Um... (*wonders what I'm supposed to actually be saying*)
Oops... I'll rewrite that... I was tired when I replied XD: What I was trying to say, is that I like how Nebnums are anthro, it makes them more unique, more different. Crawling around on all fours makes it seem like that are JR. The last part of the sentence was... when I first saw an artwork of this quadrupedal nebnum, I was a bit like: Hang on... is that supposed to be like that, it looks like a JR... (I couldn't figure out why it was on all fours)
I'm glad there are differences, I would have gone crazy thinking they were like... related via sub species. Or maybe a future/past version XD
Maybe that is good, I mean... More species! Plus... I guess... two different species higher a chance of getting one... via adopt, myo, etc.

so i decided on that
some nebber are still on their old base or drawn JR like as they used to be JRs
but with the split got converted into nebnoms but never- yet- got a version update to look nebbish
well they kind of where related at some point? but nowerdays they are standalones
Maybe, but these two species are entirely different from each other, if you like them both you shouldd get them both, owning a NN is not like owning a JR and vice versa <:

the new art can be requested to replace the old art at anytime at the Mothership entry
( simply note the mothership for it once you have a new ref;, backgroundles and without clothing for marking references.)

these Version Updates/ Redeigns can include: Eyecolor changes, color changes, marking changes and even traitchanges!
How does it work?
-this is also commissionable for MYO NebNoms-
If you are not happy with your Nebber ( some colours are off to you, the eyes are not how you'd like them or you just think the markings could be different and nicer) you can claim a slot here!
I'd need a ref of your NN and you need to let me know what you'd like changed! ( eyecolor, trait, markings, you can tell me to add another colour or take one out and so on )
But: I will not design against the Nebbers Theme! Means: if your NN has the Topic "Fire", i will not make him look like "Frozen Winter Palace" <:

*cries* these are gorgeous, each one may seem similar but are unique in thwir own way with lots of room for character development and lore. <3 I don't know which one I like more ahh >v< (I am trying to find a "main" species, or simply the species I am most focused one rip) and Nebnoms are realllyyyy tempting. I also like how Nebs seem a but more intimidating than the cute jolle <3 GAHH they are adorable!

I liked that you showed the difference between them. <: I think I'll always prefer the JRs, since they're the original and I just prefer feathery cute things like them in the first place. x> Just wish more JRs would be made recently. :'0 Simo doesn't seem too active with them lately, which is really a shame. ;v;

we both owned the species 'JR's together but some things happened that made me decide that it is for the better if we no longer work together,
so we split the species and are able to go the paths we determined with the split and the agreements we made.

This was really needed, you dont know how many times when talking with someone they go like, but i cant spot the differences between the two, to me they are the same, and Im like eeehhhhmmmm
Also this is very helpful, for those times I ask myself silly questions, I love that this is short and right to the point instead of having a lot to read ( I like stories in the lore but for traits and stuff I like short stuff so i can look easily)

it was important to me to show that there are important differences- and that they can not simply be drawn like the other one XDDD
and that is only physiological- the lore is a whole different thing, too xDD

And neb noms are so cool ;; I love them both, but I think I may like nebnoms a bit more, I don't know maybe I will get a custom when you open them (If I have the muns -.- and if I don't miss them I always miss that kind of stuff xD) Thank you for sharing more info about the differences, I thought nebnoms could have or not have teeth like jolles, and that the eyebrows were optional, and the pawpads.......I need a neb nom school xD

yeah, pawpads and eyebrows along with teeth are not an optional thing on nommers!
the intelligence is also not optional- they have to at least be in the intelligence range of a human ^^ ( being able to speak and so on- sure some can be a bit derpy, too - like some of us ( like me |D) )

and starblessed is a seasonal trait, they can only be archieved via seasonal auctions or season-special customs ^^ ( or savages/Starmekers- they acn always have seasontraits)
