PLEASE DONT REFERENCE OFF THIS SHEET ANYMORE IT'S OUTDATED!
Generally the concept is still the same but the Nebnoms depicted are outdated with their anatomy!
Okay i am actually pretty proud of the whole concept!

Good for you! I am actually intrigued with the split. I know a lot of people are freaking out and getting upset over it but honestly I would rather you both be happy rather than stay together and risk fighting and hating the species altogether. That and if you guys hadn't split I wouldn't be able to have a baby with two mothers/fathers. Though, do the Nebnoms die after they hatch the baby? I read that they give their breath for the egg. So do they give their breath and then die or...?

haha i have read so much negativity about this.
i mean: i see this is new- honestly it never happened in the CS community before with a bigger species.
but we where honest when we said: it was for the better.
i even read the words ' unprofessional' i tend to disagree. drama of all things would have been unprofessional. and eventually drama is what would have happened.
we did it for the better, for us, but also for the community, because no one likes tention and drama
ohh no no they don't die! it is just exhausting!
they might get lazy for a few days! ( insert a picture of two nebnoms sitting on a couch with beer now : P )

Now that I can do how I please with nebnoms, I finally put down the idea that was in my head for far to long now !
I am mega happy it gives a big freedom of choice without saying " yeah do what you want idontcare" but rather be like " your character can be what you please, and here is why!"

we where just going into two different directions that could not be combined anymore.
yeah i think the worst thing one could do is restriction something that is needed for character development!
i just tried to make it possible for people to own a neb that is male, or female, both, none - just anything somebody needs to feel comfortable working with the character :]

And yess exactly, it's all well and good usually but then the restrictions can usually just- bar you from this small thing that may affect your character so much and it gets frustrating;; Also it can affect motivation and inspiration for said character criess! And I think you did a great job with this and everything so far and- UGH the excitement stop it

I love the whole concept and how both parents (or more) give up a little to create a new life!
Will it affect the NebNoms life cycle in anyway, those who gave up life matter?
Will we see NebNom eggs in the future?? >v< like some cool surprise egg gift; you pool in some NebNoms and bam there's an egg, but how'll it look like???

I think it is a cool way of giving people the freedom to have their nebnom be whatever they want
without saying " yeah I don't care how it works" but rather be like " hey, your char has no limitations, and this is why"!
Creating a matteregg is exhausting, but does not shorten the lifespan ! Some might just get a bit lazy for a day or two :]
There for sure will be eggs eventually!!

I don't really think their life cycle will be terribly affected, they will probably hungry for sure (to reproduce space matter/energy) but I don't think they'd die faster

With a permission, yes, I think about that permissions will rarely be obtainable through the arpg as well !
Maybe I will also make them buyable eventually, but if so only rarely :]

Out of curiosity, does this mean that there may be events to get Nebnoms chosen for breedings in the future or to purchase slots to be able to breed them? Like being able to complete a prompt, and if we're chosen the traits are picked from the parents and the theme is up to the winner and they get to create the nebnom? ;o;

There will be occasions to obtain a reproduction permission ! But I am still figuring it all out, but for sure there will be some obtainable through the arpg!

my first thought is why have genders then? evolution does not make sense to me, i love the concept, just it niggles the back of my mind... I have a race that doesn't breed yet has male and female, it has a reason of why behind it but its kind of important not to go into that due to my story...
.. So was it a transition from when they used to breed like so or? anyway its intriguing

Well on a biological aspect they can also 'breed ' a normal way but without an egg result
The gender came through their original breeding through mattereggs!
As they pick up stuff from their surroundings and turn it into an egg. Over the billions of years, nebnoms have used anything they found on different planets , adapting different features from other critters ( for example from Earth, too!) :]
So the gender came from tokens they used from other critter who actually have genders and the nebnoms actually adapted them ( for example from a patch of fox fur )
