I use photoshop CS4 to color.I decided to make a tutorial on how I color Mya.
I hope that it can serve as an inspiration for those who have problems coloring or want to try something new.

What do you mean with "gradient"? What do this tool make?

The gradient tool is used to make a smooth transition between colors.
It applies the color that you chose and if you click down, hold and drag in any direction you will get a transition, like this [link]
This person has made a transition/gradient between black and white.
I hope that this answers your question!

It is really simple!
This kind of coloring style isn't really that hard to use, you don't really need that many layers (I still tend to make too many layers thou..>.>).
I would love to see the picture if you decide to try it out.
