Description Not as hard as I thought it'd be, but pretty flattened compared to real world's Finland, I like it thought, it fits very well once you shrink and twist it, the land of the most popular (Overrated) witches in the SW series.

Haha! I must have missed this!

Probably my favorite country in SW simply because I like most of the witches that fought here.

I've started reading the Suomus manga, it is indeed pretty fun so far.

THe Suomus army Manga is pretty good.
What I REALLY enjoyed is the original light novel series "The Suomus Misfits Squadron"

I have not seen the 507 stories fully, just read tiny bits on the characters and yes, they sound AWESOME.
But I wonder, if they are ever bring to the anime, how much would they change about that story?

I wonder that too...
I was hoping the new 3rd season would be about the 507th JFW so we could find out, but instead they selected the 502nd.
They should also be interesting, but not quite in the same way I bet. Honestly, I think the best decision for the next
Strike Witches anime would have been to focus on all the Withces in the world and the details of the Neuroi war, rather than
focusing on only one JFW again. That would have been more interesting and given the new season a fresh feel to revitilize
the series for fans of witches other than the 501st. With an anime about the 502nd, I'm worried that it's going to feel almost
exactly the same as the first 2 seasons... :/

Yeah, I read the news that it turns out it most certanly will be abou the 502.

Yeah I so want them to expand upon what is going on in the world, and not just focus on the JFW, there are some witches that don't even have pictures, they should do it about those too, I guess the 502 would be cool, they are all pretty enjoyable but, yeah I hope they just don't do the same thing as the 501 all over again.

I have faith in them, I think they'll do good

I agree exactly! I just worry that if it focuses on only the 502nd, it will be way
too similar to the first seasons and not offer very much in the way of plot and
setting development. As much as I love Strike Witches, I feel like it's a very
"Incomplete" universe.
(I'm sure you're well aware of thisΒ because of your map-making mission)

As you said, there's still witches who are missing character designs. It also seems
like every manga and light novel in the series is unfinished. There's a lot of
untapped potential for concluding these stories or mixing them together.

Regardless, I still think the new anime will be exciting. it will hopefully give a new
perspective on the Neruoi war and the series as a whole. Part of the reason
I really wanted to see the 507th animated is because their situation shows
a much darker and grittier side than the 501st's pampered lifestyle in the
Mediterranean.

Ah I see, yeah I know the the 507 stories were a little bit more harsher than what we are used to in the anime.
Some more recognition to what is going on around the world and the squads would help minize that idea that they are living in all those luxuries and are pampered, more interaction with everyone else in the background, like the mechanics, soldiers, that's what I like about the Africa doujins, the interaction with the soldiers was fantastic, it does paint a bigger scope of things in the SW universe.

The anime could take some tip bits from all the extra materials.

Exactly!! I also like the Africa doujins. I just don't like Marseille.... lol

I don't like her either, I think she is not that interesting, she's not pretty (For the people who only put up with her awful attitude because "She's SO HOT MAN like...DAMN") and of course, she's arrogant and unlikable.

So you're not alone there.

Wow, I'm glad you see it the same way! Haha
I cannot stand her arrogant and egotistical personality.

Now, inversely I am glad that character such as her exists in the SW world.
She's totally necessary for diversity and she represents a real personality
type that I'm sure plenty of soldiers in WWII had. Marseille, as much as
I dislike her, is still a very good and well-thought-out character

Yeah, that diversity is good and you don't have to put up with her that much so it is good.
