Europe of the 101st century is a far cry from the Europe of the 21st century, Closer resembling the Europe of the late ice age. Home to many resurrected beasts of a forgotten time like woolly mammoth and the auroch. The humans of europe like much of earth are far less prolific then they once were, only a few ancient cities still bustle with activity.

Apart from humans europe is home to many clans of bears that call the forests home. Terran bear uplifts are much like their spacefaring cousins, preferring to live in small tribes in the woods and having an immense love of cooking and seeking out new foods to try. Bears are common in European cities, often owning small family run "human style" restaurants that mimic human cuisine.

The woolly mammoth is a different story however, as a group they have refused all attempts to join wider civilization. The mammoths ironically live a lot like the ancient humans that hunted them. Mammoths are only known to engage with human neoprimitives and the Yredda, a nomadic people who claim to be the descendants of the romani.

A few thousand years ago the continent also had a significant amount of cloned neanderthals that have mostly all moved away to their own planet of Aathano.
