Description
An interstellar empire that broke off from the Mandate of Utopia during the Utopia civil war. The Kingdom was comprised mostly of uplifts and non cybernetic humans that felt their rights would be neglected in an AI run government. The kingdom heavily distrusted neural cybernetics and powerful AIs. In order to compete with the AI autocrats of utopia they created gene engineered castes of humans with giant brains known as the mentanai.
Kingdom is a bit of a misnomer, the KTL is in actuality a kind of democratic oligarchy.
