Description

Pluto has always been a strange place. It's inhabitants are however more strange than the dwarf planet itself. Pluto is almost as alien as an edgeworld yet it sits within the heart of the terran diaspora.

Left to Right;

Bleebnim: A robot society found across the kuiper belt. Bleebnim are often travelling merchants and artisans, making a living selling overpriced trinkets to foreigners.

Norxob: A heavily edited form of uplifted octopus adapted to the frigid airless surface of pluto. They have since become well known for their perilous migrations across the styx elevator. Norxob make use of a network of breathing spots to refuel, some of these air factories are motile and accompany tribes of Norxob on long journeys.

Ned'ja: The descendants of martian colonists fleeing religious persecution for a meme cult that became a serious religion. The Ned'ja faith is cobbled together from antiquated science fiction stories from ancient earth, this fact was lost over the ensuing millennia to the religion's followers. Ned'ja are required to carry a sword and wear tin helmets, they pray to a nameless mystical force and believe humanity was uplifted by aliens.

Ygogdi: The most dominant plutonian culture, found across the dwarf planet and it's moons. Most have some degree of martian ancestry even if they have edited themselves since to look very distinct. Ygogdi culture is faintly matriarchal, more egalitarian than it was many centuries ago.

Ioqu: The nearly skeletal Ioqu are found mostly on Pluto's moon Charon. The Ioqu look like normal low grav humans for most of their life but slowly become more skeletal over time. This is done to honour nature by embracing the natural aging process while enjoying the benefits of immortality. They see most of terran culture as vain for trying to hold on to youth forever.
