Chumvi is one of Nala and Simba's best friends growing up, as well as the cousin of Kula. He is a bit boastful as a cub and believes lions are superior to other species, and often would peer pressure his more well-behaved friends into performing dares. However, he mellows out as he gets older and becomes a very coolheaded lion. He is also a big momma's boy as his father abandoned the family when he found out she was pregnant with a cub.
