alright SO! little change here XD, instead of having Xicomian Joltick/Galvantula, I switched them for Elgyem and Beheeyem cuz Honestly? I like these better XD and so does anybody else SO! thanks to the pole I posted you guys helped me decide the typing (even tho it was just 2 people who voted) I can now officially post these guys

Xicomian Elgyem

DEX ENTRY: it is said that deep down on the ocean floors of Xicome, lies a sunken island said to be inhabited by the little Elgyem and their evolution Beheeyem, who adapted to the way of life underwater which makes it sort of hard to encounter

in Xicome Elgyem rarely leaves the ocean floor, the only times it goes to shore it's to consume berries that can't be obtained on the floor or if they are taken down underwater they could probably not last due for the pressure of water

Elgyem have very interesting and unknown powers that can control some tidal waves and even create a constellation like body to distract predators and flee

NEW FORM ORIGIN: it's based on a Jaina figurine, little clay statuettes found in Jaina Island which is a pre-Colombian/Mayan land that used to be above the sea but now it's sunken, it's also based on Atlantean people whose island also sunk in the sea and said to be very knowledgeable ancient people

DEX ENTRY: evolution of Elgyem, legend tells that a very long time ago, Beheeyem once came out of nowhere to Xicome Region, for the people these strange creatures were something unlike the rest they had seen, they did not trust them at first but after seeing they meant no harm, both ancient Xicomian people and the Beheeyem began to share and learn their ways to one another

Beheeyem taught them too much about start reading which later became known as Astrology, for the Xicomian people that was a whole new experience they could get good use for, but then after a long time has passed, the Beheeyem just left without notice and they were never seen again or ever to be found

said legend is meant to explain why Beheeyem now live underwater where they have their habitat and way of life underwater among their own kind, some astrologists say based on the ancient readings of Xicome, that the Beheeyem were never meant to come and teach our ways to the people of Xicome back then, but that they wanted to ask them if there was a way to return to somewhere, as if they knew they didn't belong here, and which is why they departed afterwards seeing how they couldn't get an answer and left to the bottom floor of the sea to find a way to return to wherever they came from
