so a few days ago, SMG4 posted a whole video dedicated on how 2019 was his best year yet, and yes, we do all agree, it went really AWESOME with what he has done so far, alongside with his team at Glitchy Productions

along the lines, he did mentioned on maybe giving SMG4 as the character himself, to have an original design, while it would be weird to see SMG4 NOT look like Mario, I still thought "hmm, how would THAT be?" and well, decided to give it my take

it's not much of a "complex" design (at least I want to believe is not) mostly what I came up with was to make him stand out a little more than the actual Mario shape he has, BUT still retaining most of the design too, so I made a couple of small changes (with the help of a good friend of mine too) to make a more "original" design for SMG4

and in the end, we came up with different designs, some of which are not done yet digitally, but for me I wanted to give him a checkered pattern to the shirt, something that would look outside from the plumber aspect that Mario has, as well as implementing the whole 3 letters into the design itself, like the S and G in each glove AND making the M be present with the shirt's neck alongside the overall laces and just add the number 4 on the cap, I also had an idea that he has a fake mustache all the time just for lol reasons

my friend made the 2 designs on the bottom corner, she went with a more cartoonish design, still keeping the checkered shirt, and this time, add the whole SMG4 on the cap but the cap itself it's based on the cap he wears all the time IRL, this one it's based more on the newest design SMG4 has for stick figures so, that's why it looks a little lanky, but hey, it still is a good design nonetheless

I might make more concept views for these and maybe a new redesign, to have variety I suppose, in any case, here's my take for a more "original" design SMG4
