I swear, Moana is TOTALLY not the inspiration for this XD, okay maybe it is

okay so this is a new Xicome form for Dwebble and Crustle, I dunno, all the time I saw Crustle's back I always pictured a sort of fake treasure chest because of the shape it had, AND recently they exposed a certain crab demon in a disney movie who had a treasure filled shell so it was meant to be XD, so let's now meet the new forms

Xicomian Dwebble

DEX ENTRY: When Dwebble began to appear in Xicome region, they had to quickly adapt their lives at the sea shore since civilization began to expand more and more not leaving much space for them to live, however, by adapting to the sea shore, they began to gain a new type AND become more active than a regular Dwebble

however tho, they are extremely greedy as for they developed a need to collect shiny things, mainly sunken treasures and most of the time gold found at the bottom of the sea, this made Dwebbles to live more on the deeps of the sea and hardly ever get out at the sea shore

it's said that a Dwebble's shell from Xicome worths a hefty prize if someone manages to obtain it, that lead to some hunting for the little pokemon, but Dwebbles were smart, as for they would bury themselves in the sea bottom's sand to avoid any sort of detection from other pokemon or predators for that matter, which let for the hunting to be almost impossible since hunters would had to dig the sea bottom to find them and said task was not really easy to do

NEW FORM ORIGIN: it's based on a hermit crab, the fact that it now collects shiny things comes from coconut cras

Xicomian Crustle

DEX ENTRY: evolution of Dwebble, Crustle had grown to be extremely greedy, at the point where it could harm very harshly another pokemon just to get one single piece of gold as big as your fingernail, they can't stand the look of gold

their shells have a treasure chest like pattern that sometimes fool deep sea divers or treasure hunters who think it's sunken treasure, but since Crustle can't bury so well as Dwebble do, they get angry when someone tries to snatch their shell

with a luxury shell as such comes high risk of danger, that's why Crustle had developed a sort of aggressive nature to defend itself at all cost when some one is near, they don't really trust much almost anything but they do mean well if treated well, it's said that if you give Crustle a golden nugget, it will treasure it forever and will respect you for a while before it ditches you
